Chapter 25: under attack
Darius POV
We ran as fast as we could back to the packhouse and the screams got louder and louder the closer
we got. As for me, every scream that was heard it hurted me all the way into my bones, I could feel
when one of my pack members got hurt.
I could smell blood in the air when we were a few hundreds of yards away. I pushed my legs to go even
faster, I needed to stop this attack before it got out of hand. I needed to save my pack members that
were left back at the packhouse. I will kill the people that are attacking my pack when I get my hands
on them. This is one thing I won''t let go of. The more fear I felt from my pack members the more I could
hear Xander in my mind to get back as fast as I could.
We reached the frontwn of our packhouse and the first thing I saw was five bodiesying on the
ground. I recognized one of them as Cassie, she had deep w marks across her stomach and was
breathing but it was slow. When I looked around I saw fighting between some wolves that did not
belong to my pack and my pack members, I joined the fight to protect my pack. The fight ended fast
once we came back and joined in.
When the fight was over I ordered my man to search the area to see if there were any enemies that
were still lurking around. Celia came running out from the packhouse screaming her lungs off as she
must have felt Cassie get hurt and she ran over to her sister. I ordered my man to help get the injured
to the hospital so Celia could help them out.
I looked over to the packhouse, I was worried about Aleera, wondering if she was fine or not. This
must-have brought back some memories for her from her past. I will check on her as soon as I am
done here. I turned my head away from the house to look at the injured pack members as they took the
injured pack member to the hospital, a small brown wolf came up behind me and attacked me but I was
stronger and pinned the brown wolf down fast. Some of my pack members came to my aid and I could
tell and smell that the wolf did not belong to my pack.
As my men held the brown wolf, I shifted back to my human form and I looked down on the brown wolf
and with my alpha voice I talked to this unknown person.

Sadly, the brown wolf did not listen to mymand to shift back. It took me three times before he
shifted back to his human form. When he finally shifted I saw a boy and he can’t be older than 15. He
had dark blonde hair and blue eyes, he had some resemnce to my mate but it can’t be so I ignored
it. He was on his kneespletely naked I grabbed his shoulder so he would look at me
"Tell me what the hell are you doing on my territory?" I asked him, holding him in a firm hold but he did
not answer me and my anger grew when he refused to answer my question.

After some silence he opened his mouth and answered me.
"You have something that belongs to us and we want our property back." That was the only thing he
said, he must be talking about Aleera.
"She does not belong to you and you will never get her back." I said back, my voice boomed out in
anger.
"We will get her back one way or another." He said looking at me with a smirk on his face.
"And I will never let you get her back, so do me the honor by telling me your name."
"And why would I ever tell you my name?" the boy asked with amusement in his voice.
"Because you are on mynd and will have a chance of living a bit longer. You will tell me your name."
Once again he was quiet and was just sitting there. I turned my head toward James who was by my
side looking at the boy waiting for him to say something but he didn’t and he was wasting my time.
"James, take him away and beat him up until he answers our questions."
James nodded his head and walked over to the boy, grabbed him and started to drag him away while
another one of my pack members handed me a pair of shorts when we all heard Aleera''s voice.
Aleera PVO
It was still early and the sun had still note up yet when Darius had to leave to take care of the
emergency at his border. I was still on my bed looking at the door frightened, hoping he woulde
back soon.
The guy James said that they had smelled fragments from the Moonlit pack. How did they find me? I
ced my head on my knees and rocked myself back and forth, I was scared that I was not safe
anymore. I can''t go back, if I do I will be dead for sure, I know it. I won''t be able to go through it all
again. I want him toe back now and tell me that everything is fine and that I am safe.
I know for a fact that Darius would not let them do anything to me so I tried to calm myself down by
taking deep breaths. I also tried to push my thoughts out of my mind as it did not help to think about it
while I was trying to calm myself down. I closed my eyes to help my calming process when I heard
screaming outside.
My eyes flew open and I moved back. My eyes went everywhere and my whole body was shaking in
fear, more screams wereing and it did not help me out at all. I know that they wille inside my
room soon and take me back.
I don''t know if I should stay here or get out of here to find him. He had told me to stay here but he also
told me that I was this pack''s luna so I got up on my shaky legs and left my room to go out.
I opened the door slowly and looked in both directions before I stepped out of my room. As I was
walking downstairs I saw other pack members also afraid and some were badly hurt. I passed a
window and I looked out and I saw a ck wolf fighting a brown wolf, the fight was over fast.
I could see that the ck wolf shifted back first and it was Darius! He was naked in front of everyone, of
course my mind started to imagine things about his naked body. How could I start to imagine stuff
about his naked body in this situation? I pushed the images out of my mind. I stayed by the window to
continue looking at them. I could see that Darius was talking but I could not hear what he was saying.
Not long after I saw the brown wolf starting to shift back to his human form.
When I saw the human form, tears started running down my face. I turned around and ran towards the
door and outside. When I managed to open the door and get out there I screamed out.
"Angelo, you are alive! I thought you were dead!"
