Chapter 4: where am I


    I can hear an irritating beeping sound that grows louder and louder. And I knew right then that I was still


    alive.


    I can hear a woman''s voice in the room "Alpha, she has been out for one week and I don''t know when


    she will wake up." I hear the unknown woman say.


    I thought to myself ''she said alpha, then I’m back at my pack''.


    "Can you give me an update possibly on what has happened to her?"


    That voice, I have never heard before, but then again it has been a long time since I heard anyone''s


    voice from my pack. The only voices I have heard are the ones that have been in my room every night.


    The unknown woman answered him. "My examination of this woman and going over her body, she has


    been beaten and raped. I managed to help her heal from the bite wound she had on her shoulder. And


    when I did an X-ray, I could see that her bones have been broken a couple of times, they have not


    been able to healpletely before being broken again, over and over. I hope by being here it will heal


    up.”

    The beeping sound goes haywire and I can feel someone take my hand and I think it is the same


    unknown woman "Everyone get out!” She screams to the others in the room that were there but I didn''t


    know who or how many.


    I could hear the door close, but not long after I slowly started to open my eyes. The bright light made it


    hard for me to see, but I could tell that it was a white room so I guess I was in a hospital room. It was a


    long time ago that I had seen so much light. It hurt my eyes at first.


    I turn my head to the left and see a woman with green eyes and brown hair. She has a whiteb coat


    on and a warm smile on her face. She looks happy to see that I have opened my eyes. I swing my


    arms to get away from her and I start to fight for my life.


    "Please calm down." She says with a concerned look in her eyes.


    "Don''t touch me! Leave me alone!" I scream back.


    Another persones to help. She also had green eyes but her hair is light brown. "Get me the


    tranquilizer!" She says to the other one while trying to hold me down. The other person runs to a


    cab in the corner of the room and opens the ss door.


    "Calm down! You will hurt yourself!" She says with a terrifying voice.


    The light brown girles back with a syringe. I look at the syringe in fear. I tried to get free but this


    unknown woman has a strong hold on me. I managed to get my hand free.


    I see she is moving the syringe to my IV - Drip the second she put the syringe in the iv bag, I get a hold


    on the needle in my arm and pull it out. I push the unknown woman in theb coat away from me.


    I got out of the bed and my legs felt like jelly, it was hard for me to stand. The light brown girl was right


    beside me. I screamed and punched her to get her away from me. She fell to the floor and I moved


    around the ce to find stuff to throw at them so they would leave me alone.


    I could hear the door open and I turned around and to see a man in the doorway.


    I could smell something, but what was it? I took a quick sniff and I smelled strawberries and choctes,


    it was so captivating. I can hear my wolf far in my mind screaming one word to me that I don''t want to


    hear ''mate''. I push Pixie back in my mind and block her out. Who is he and why is he my mate, and


    how can pixie be so happy about it. I can’t trust anyone right now.

    would guess about 6.5 feet tall.


    I look around starting to panic when I see a small te with a scalpel on and I reach out and grab it and


    hold it to my neck. The unknown man put up his hands in the air.


    "I am not going to hurt you, so please put the scalpel down." he said. I shake my head. Who was he to


    ask me that question? What does he want with me?


    I started to panic even more and my breathing started to go hayway. "Leave me alone! I know he is


    here! If youe closer I will end my life!" I scream with a terrified voice.


    I start to back away still holding the scalpel to my throat. The two women took steps away from me so I


    would not hurt myself.


    The man still holding his hands in the air took a few steps forward.


    "Don''t be afraid of me. I am not going to hurt you in any way." He said while looking at me with


    concerned eyes. "My name is Darius. What is your name?"


    I looked up in his eyes and shook my head. Darius takes one more step closer. Why is he stilling


    closer?


    "Don''te any closer! I will slice my throat! Just bring him in! I know he is here!" I yelled at him.


    I see that there are more people standing outside the doors threshold. "Who are you talking about?" He


    asks me. And has a confused look on his face.


    "Who else? My father! I know he is here, just bring him in so I can get my punishment for running


    away!" I screamed out. My eyes could not hold back my tears anymore. My body is shaking in so much


    fear. It''s hard for me to keep the scalpel in a steady hold to my throat.


    "Who is your father?" He asked and looked confused.


    "Do you think I am an idiot?" I asked as I backed away and felt the cold wall behind me. With nowhere


    else to go I start to panic even more. I have moved away from them as far as I can, thanks to this


    stupid wall. I looked at thedies in the room really fast and then back to Darius just in time to see that


    he kept following me. I start to hyperventte at this point.


    Dariuses even closer while saying "I don''t know who you are talking about. This is the Night


    Shade pack and I am the alpha, Darius Knight. Please drop the scalpel and tell me your name and


    where you are from." He tells me with a calm and kind but also concerned voice.


    "No, you''re lying." I said to him as he takes thest few steps then he is standing right in front of me


    and reaches out his hand to me.


    "Please give me the scalpel." He said while looking into my eyes.


    "Noooo!" I screamed out and pushed the scalpel in my neck and everything went ck.


    Thest thing I could feel is warm hands around my neck and pressure where I pushed in the scalpel. I


    could feel some weird feelings where the warm hands touched my skin but I could not understand what


    it was. And I did not want to know.
