Chapter 3: face to face with Selene


    It feels like I''ve slept for days, I opened my eyes slowly and I can see a blue sky and a lot of trees. As I


    sit up and look around I can see that just behind the trees is a smallke.


    ''Pixie, where are we?'' I asked through our mind link, but to my disappointment, I didn’t get an answer


    back for her.


    I start to move my head around more to see where I was. Am I dead? I said out loud.


    "No my child you are not dead." I heard a voice.


    I looked around but I did not see anyone there. "Who are you? And why can''t I see you?"


    Just as I finished my question I saw a bright light and a woman with a long white dress and long silver


    hair which came to her waist, she had a kind face which was pale but perfect, and her eyes were deep


    ocean blue color. My mouth fell open to the beautiful creature in front of me.


    "My name is Selene and you couldn''t see me before because I didn''t want to scare you." She had the


    most beautiful voice I had ever heard before in my life.


    "Where am I?" I asked her. She looked at me before she answered my question,


    "You are in your sanctuary in my realm, I''m the moon goddess, the mother of all the wolves."


    I moved my hands up and rubbed my eyes to see if I was dreaming or hallucinating. When I took my


    hands away she was still there looking at me and waited for me to process what she told me.

    "Then why am I here?" I asked and looked at Selene. "You are here because your wolf Pixie came to


    me and asked me to help you." She gives me a warm smile.


    "PIXIE?!? Where is she?" I ask her with panic in my voice.


    "No need to worry my child, she is asleep in your mind. The only way for me to be able to talk to you


    was to put Pixie to sleep in your mind." She said in a calming voice.


    I looked at her in confusion and shock at the same time. The moon goddess started to walk over to


    where I was sitting and reached her hand to me. She had a warm smile on her face, so I decided to


    take her hand and she helped me up.


    We walked past the tree lines heading to theke in silence. I can feel the moon goddess look at me a


    few times, but when I look back at her she looks ahead. When we reached theke she looked at me


    again.


    "If you are the Moon goddess can you," she cut me off like she knew what I was about to ask her.


    "I will tell you all about it when you are ready to hear it. I know you have suffered a lot at the hands of


    your father and the moonlit pack, but that was your destiny so you could achieve my future ns for


    you".


    I looked at Selene in shock, like my eyes were going to pop out my head. It felt like I had a lump in my


    throat, tears started rolling down my cheeks.


    "What the hell do you know? You don''t know anything I have been through!" I scream at the moon


    goddess with a crying voice.


    "Shh my child, I know about it all. It has hurt me to see it all." She looked at me with pain in her eyes.

    "Sorry, but why did you not stop it?" I asked her, Selene looked out at the horizon behind theke.


    "You had a different destiny before your mother was murdered. This destiny that is in front of you now,


    is because your mother was murdered." She paused and took some breath and continued.


    "Remember my child, you will soon wake up to find out that you are not alone. You will find out more


    and get answers to your questions and the purpose as to why all this has happened to you, but you


    have to be patient."


    I looked down at my hands as tears started flowing down even more. "I don''t want to wake up. I just


    want to end this suffering and to be with my mother and brother."


    Selene snapped her head to me, "Don''t you dare think to take your life. I told you, you''re no longer


    alone, trust me." She said. I look up at Selene with red eyes from crying.


    "Trust you, how? Look at me I am a daughter of an alpha that tortured and raped me and you never


    came! I’m broken and lost!"


    Selene starts to walk closer to the edge of theke but turns her head back and looks at me.


    "Yes you are broken and lost, but you will find your way back. Aleera my child, my time is up and it''s


    time for you to wake up" she told me and turned her back to me and started to walk in theke. Literary

    I looked around and noticed that everything around me started to fade away and turned to ck. I
