"I''ll take your powers too, Edmund!"


    Upon saying those words, Hadirt reached out to swipe at Edmund from behind the ck defensive barrier. The sword Edmund was holding was firmly stuck to the barrier, and he could not pull it out no matter how hard he tried. It was not long before Hadirt got his fingers around Edmund''s neck.


    "Come on, Edmund! Let us be one! Hahahaha!"


    Hadirtughed loudly and started absorbing the energy aura inside Edmund''s body. The next second, however, Edmund put his hands together and muttered a spell. A ck dragon appeared above his head, letting out a howl of fury as it wed at Hadirt''s defensive barrier.


    Roar!


    The defense barrier exploded with the dragon''s attack just as Edmund sessfully wrangled himself out of Hadirt''s grip. He flew several dozens of meters backward, only to stop ande charging toward Hadirt once more.


    Edmund leaped into the air, melding into the ck dragon. It shed its razor- sharp talons, swiping at Hadirt.


    "You bastard! You''re a dragon n cultivator too, Edmund! No wonder you were so protective of Wilbur... to the point that you got my brother killed. I''m going to kill you today and avenge my brother!" Hadirt roared, soaring toward Edmund as he swung his sword against the ck dragon.


    Despite being very powerful, Edmund only had a hundred and ten thousand years of cultivation while Hadirt had a hundred and fifty thousand.


    There was a clear difference in power between the two of them, and the ck dragon exploded after a few attacks from Hadirt''s sword. Edmund was sent flying as well, crashing heavily onto the ground.


    The effects of the Power Elixir Drop were also ending, and his energy aura surged out of Edmund as he returned to his heavily wounded state.


    Edmund had been injured pretty badly before this and getting injured again after taking the Power Elixir Drop by force hadpletely drained him of all energy.


    Edmund grabbed instinctively at the energy aura flowing out of him, but it was fruitless.


    "Hahaha!"


    Hadirtughed loudly from where he was in the heavens. "I bet you never saw thising, Edmund! Either way, I''ll be happy to send you on your way."


    Upon saying those words, Hadirt darted up to Edmund before swinging his sword down at Edmund.


    "Aura Return!"


    Wilbur roared the words at the veryst second, appearing behind Edmund and forming a defense barrier out of the power of the light to block Hadirt''s attack.


    "What the..."
