Chapter 2777

Hadirt was shocked to see Wilbur, as well as the state he was in. "Wilbur Penn... you''re alive! Wait, you''re the heir of the Child of Light? You''re wearing a full suit of Light Armor! There is no ce for light, not in the nine major towns! I''m going to

    kill you!"

Hadirt''s sword broke through the defense barrier of the power of light, stabbing in Wilbur''s direction. Wilbur gripped the ck sword with his hands, and the Light Gloves converted the energy of the sword into the power of light that was channeled into Wilbur''s body.

Hadirt was once again shocked to see this but wrenched his sword out of Wilbur''s grasp to stab at the Light Armor on his body.

Just then, the Light Armor began to radiate a white glow. A faintyer of ck miasma swirled outside the white glow, and that was what absorbed the energy from Hadirt''s sword.

He furrowed his brows. "How... How could that be?"

Yet before he could give it more thought, Wilbur radiated a ck aura that quickly formed a ck vortex. It devoured Hadirt''s sword altogether, as well as the energy auraing out of Hadirt.

Hadirt was furious when he sensed this, striking the Light Armor with a force that sent Wilbur flying.

Hadirt used the counterforce to fly a dozen meters backward as well. By the time he looked again, Grote and the others had safely rescued Edmund and were hiding far away. Felix called out to Wilbur, "Use the Light Gloves to absorb his powers, Master! You''ll be stronger than Hadirt if you convert his power into yours!"

    "Got it."

The Child of Light did have the power to absorb that of others, but Hadirt had not expected Wilbur to have such a power as well.

Hadirt''s chest heaved as he looked at Wilbur. "No, this can''t be. That could not have been dark space power... What did you learn? How are you able to absorb my energy? F*ck, I''ve been cultivating for fifty thousand years! You''re not beating me, kid! I''m going to kill you. Take this, Wilbur Penn!"

Upon saying those words, he summoned the ck sword once more before swinging it toward Wilbur. Yet Wilbur remained standing where he was, and the Light Armor absorbed all of the sword aura from the attack without harming him in the slightest.

The Child of Light had said before that the power of light was a special dimensionalw, one that could turn any and all forms of energy into more power of light.

Felix had told this to Wilbur, giving him a greater understanding of the Child of Light. This meant that Wilbur could withstand Hadirt''s attacks even if Hadirt had a hundred and fifty thousand years of cultivation after taking the Power Elixir Drop. Yes, Wilbur could deflect Hadirt''s attacks while looking for a chance tond attacks of his own.

Hadirt made a series of sword strikes, but not one of them managed to hurt Wilbur. This shocked Hadirt greatly, but that shock was quickly reced with fury.

"You bastard! Do you think you''ll be able to defeat me just because you can absorb everything? Let me show you what true absorption is!"

Hadirt muttered a spell and began to release a ck energy aura that was like a thick fog. It spread out quickly, filling the sky before creating a dimension spanning several hundred meters.

Wilbur and Hadirt were both contained in the dimension, and Hadirtughed loudly once it was formed. "Oh right, Wilbur. I forgot to tell you that I''d already mastered the essence of dark space power. I shall devour you today, and gain all of your energy. I shall be the heir of the Child of Light, and you shall be a pile of bones!"

The Dark Dimension began to shrink, reducing everything in its space to dust. Hadirt was devouring the energy of everything within the space, from the rocks on the ground to the grains of sand in the air.
