Wilbur said, "What do you think we should do, then?"


    Felix whispered into Wilbur''s ear, who nodded. "Right. We''ll go with that, then."


    Following that, the two men returned to the Chris family grounds together. Just as they had entered, a servant came running towards them in a panic. "You''re finally back, Lord Horne! Lord Conrad came over this morning, he''s been waiting in the main hall since then."


    "Conrad?"


    Wilbur and Felix exchanged nces. Neither of them knew why Conrad was here all of a sudden, and Felix said, "Have him wait a little longer. We''ll be with him in just a second."


    "Yes, Lord Horne."


    The servant hurried off to deliver the message, and Wilbur and Felix quickly entered the study. Felix took out a pen and paper, writing down a letter. The two men then called for a servant, handing the letter to him.


    Felix reminded, "Remember that Divan has to receive this personally."


    "Yes, my Lord."


    The servant left with the letter, and the two men finally made their way to the main hall. Just as they had walked in, they saw Conrad smashing a teapot onto the ground in a fit of rage. "I''m here to greet Felix Horne as the head of the Albert family, how dare he ke on me like this?"


    "Hahaha!"


    Felix let out augh at this, walking over with a grin. "My apologies for making you wait, Lord Conrad. I was extremely busy and caught up with work, sorry for the dy."


    "It''s fine."


    Conrad waved a hand, sitting back down as he said, "I won''t question your work, Lord Horne. What I want to know, however, is if you''re interested in making some money."


    "Money? Hahaha! No one in the nine major towns would say no to that question, Lord Conrad! It''s in one''s nature to lust after money, but I''m only interested in making money within my means. I don''t care about anything beyond that, nor do I think I should. If you''re here to invite me to take the Hilton family down with you, you can just leave now."


    "Looks like I really underestimated you. But you should know that money does note without evil, and there is no way for you to make it big without screwing some people over in the process. You might be the leader of the Chris family now, but technically you are no more than another one of Babbit''s puppets. You''re only here because Babbit needs someone to keep track of the Chris family''s ounts, and no more. All that money you''re managing is tracked closely, and not a single coin goes into your pocket. Don''t you think that kind of life can be so terribly boring?"


    Just then, Wilbur said, "Well, what would you constitute as an interesting life, Lord Conrad?"


    Conrad nced at Wilbur before saying, "I heard that Dalton and a few dozen members of the Dragon yer Organization were ambushed not too long ago. They lost over half of their men, but the attackers'' faces were covered so no one knew who did it. See, that''s what I find exciting. You have to think you''re going to win every time, even if you''re going up against a powerful opponent. See, even if a group as powerful as the Dragon yer Organization met their downfall with a carefully thought-out ploy."


    Wilbur and Felix exchanged nces before chuckling out loud. Wilbur then said, "I didn''t know you were interested in this matter too, Lord Conrad! I thought it was just Felix and I, you know."
