"You''re not taking them away just like that, not on my watch!"


    Just then, Wilbur descended from the sky wearing the Light Gloves. He got down to one knee, pressing his right gloved hand onto the dark ground. The glove began to glow the second it made contact with the ground, growing into a blinding light.


    Wilbur could feel the converted power of light swimming around his body in waves of warmth and lit up with glee. He had been right.


    Despite not having mastered the dimensionalws of Light and Destruction, Wilbur knew that the Light Gloves would be able to absorb the power of Destruction and convert it into the power of light. The power of destruction was a dimensionalw from a middle dimension, which meant that the power from the world of the Shadow Men below the middle dimensions would be able to be converted into the power of light as well.


    Any regr person unable to store the power of light in their body would not be able to absorb all of the Shadow King''s powers, but Wilbur was far from regr. The dragon''s head imprint on his back could absorb and store the power of light and the power of destruction.


    This meant that Wilbur could absorb all of the Shadow King''s powers and convert them into the power of light, then store them in his body.


    The Shadow energy was quickly sucked up by the Light Gloves, and the walls and ground of the dark space began to wriggle around as it was on the edge of crumbling.


    "What? Those are the Light Gloves!"


    The Shadow King glowered at Wilbur. "You have the Light Gloves and the protection of the upper and middle dimensions! Wilbur Penn, you really made me see you in a different light in the lower dimensions."


    The next second, the dark space cracked open as light flooded in. The outside world was exposed to the people in the space once more as if the curtains had been yanked open.


    Wilbur continued to absorb and store the power of light in his body. "Cut the crap, and let''s get on to a proper battle."


    The Shadow King took two steps backward, turning to look at Perry and the others. "No, I''ll kill them first and thene back for you!"


    He darted over towards Perry, and Wilbur shot over to stand in front of the eight men as the power of light lit up his right fist before he threw a heavy punch in the Shadow King''s direction.


    Wilburnded a heavy blow on the left side of the Shadow King''s chest. The next second, Wilbur''s right fist was absorbed by the Shadow King''s own fist into his body. The Shadow King gritted his teeth as if he was trying something. All of a sudden, he froze as countless rays of white light passed through his body and shone out.


    "F*cking bastard! How are you able to absorb so much power of light in your mortal body? Get away from me!"


    The Shadow King threw a punch in Wilbur''s direction, who scrambled to block it with his arms. The pressure sent Wilbur several steps backward, as it did to the Shadow King. The left side of his chest was rapidly healing, and the Shadow King turned to flee. "I''ll leave you alone for tonight! I''ll be back to kill you once I absorbed enough power! This world''s going to be destroyed, and it''s all because of me!"


    The Shadow King leaped off the building and was nowhere to be seen by the time Wilbur and the ck Panthers caught up. Wilbur turned to Perry, asking, "What are we gonna do now that he''s escaped?"


    Perry said, "I forgot to tell you just now that the dragon cauldron can actually absorb the power of the Shadow King. You''ll be able to hold him down using the cauldron. He might have escaped, but his aura cannot be hidden in our world. You just need to get a little closer, and you''ll sense it."
