Chapter 1274

Just then, Miles'' phone rang. He nced at it and frowned. "You should count your blessings. I''m off to a meeting with the three major gangs, I''ll be back for you. Let''s go."

Miles picked up the call, speaking into the phone as he left.

His friends sneered at Wilbur as well, following after Miles.

The bodyguards cast one final nce at Wilbur, before turning to leave as well.

Wilbur chuckled. "See you in a bit."

Miles was already gone and did not hear his words.

Wilbur shook his head. Bailey gged down a cab, and the both of them headed for Tiger Manor.

At the same time, over in Tiger Manor.

All three gang leaders sat in a row.

They were Cade Lonen of the Mighty Tiger Gang, Daryl Mondo from the Lion Hero Gang, and Sans Kaur from the Hungry Wolf Gang.

The gangs'' members stood behind them, each wearing their own gang clothing.

Daryl Mondo of the Lion Hero Gang was a fat man whose flesh jiggled every time he spoke or moved. "Why have you invited all of us to Tiger Manor today, Cade?"

"Oh, trust me. I''ve got a good reason," Cade smiled.

The leader of the Hungry Wolf Gang was a thin, frail-looking elder with a long mustache. He picked up his teacup and took a sip. "I''m pretty sure it has to be something big, since we''re all here."

Cade smiled. "That''s right. Our gangs have gotten into countless fights over territory, during which many lives were lost. I don''t think it''ll be good for this to keep happening."

"I agree," Sans said with a dark smile. "I feel like it''s best if we re-delegate the territory. The mayor of Gamuda City happened to want to talk to me today, so I invited him here as well. He''ll be here in a bit. I''m sure everyone''s fine with that?"

Cade''s expression darkened. Sans had connections to the mayor of Gamuda City, a clear power move to bear down on Cade.

Just then, Daryl piped up with a smile.

"It really is such a coincidence! The CEO of Hoffer Corp from Dasha, Mister Miles Jarn and I have recently been discussing a business partnership. He ns to invest two billion dors into building a luxurious hotel in Gamuda City, and a top tier performance venue. I didn''t have a ce to meet up, and thought I''d use the space for it as well. Mister Jarn will be here in no time, we can all have a little chat then."

Cade clenched his fists at those words.

It turned out that these two were up to no good as well.

One was trying to use his connections to the mayor to bear down on Cade, and the other was trying to expand his territory under the name of investing.

    What brilliant minds.

    Cade sneered to himself.

He might have evenplied if he had not just advanced to pre-Sanctuary level.

It was important to note that the mayor of Gamuda City had always maintained a neutral position when it came to the three major gangs.

It was clear that Sans had put good money into buying him over.

Of course, he would not be able to afford to mess with a government official.

The two-billion-dor investment Daryl had secured would be sure to put the officials on his side, pared to the past.

After all, all three gangs had been neck and neck in terms of power before this. Anyone whose side the officials were on would have the upper hand for sure.

Now, however, Cade was of pre-Sanctuary level.

Daryl and Sans were merely of Ambience level.

All it would take was for Cade to show his power, and the other two gang leaders

would give up on trying to fight and do whatever Cade wanted.

After all, Cade was literally capable of beating them into submission now, even the officials.

The other two gang leaders were just going to hand their territory over, or Cade would just have to take them down one at a time.
