Wilbur looked at him. "No, it''s about what you want to do."


    "I want to be free of them, but I owe them so much money and they injected me with drugs. I can''t leave anymore," Jack said in despair.


    Bailey looked at Jack in shock. "You''ve been controlled by them?"


    "Yes, I have. I''m sorry, Bailey. There''s nothing I can do." Jack clutched his head, ripping at his air.


    Bailey got to her feet,ing up to Jack. "Go back to Dasha and get clean from whatever''s in you. What''s wrong with starting over?"


    "It''s not that simple. They confiscated my passport ages ago, and they''ve got eyes everywhere. I can''t go, even if I wanted to." Jack shook his head helplessly.


    Bailey was stunned. She had not expected this to be the reason behind Jack ending up in this state.


    She turned to Wilbur, looking at him pleadingly.


    For some reason, she felt like Wilbur would have a way out of this.


    Wilbur looked at Jack. "I''ll help you out this one time, seeing as you''ve still got a heart in you. Go back and tell Cade Lonen that I''ll be there on time. Don''t worry about the rest, you''ll know when the timees."


    Jack let out a long sigh, nodding his head. "Okay, Mister Penn."


    He turned to leave, stopping at the door to bow to Bailey. "I''m sorry."


    Bailey shook her head at his retreating back. "Poor guy."


    "You can''t say he was entirely forced into it. He would''ve never even been around these people if he''d just stayed in school, would he?" Wilbur said.


    Bailey blinked.


    Indeed, Jack had always taken advantage ofing from a bit more money to ck off from school and hang around sketchy people. That was whatnded him in this state.

    The next morning, Wilbur and Bailey had breakfast at the hotel. Bailey had insisted oning along with Wilbur, so he had let her.


    By some terrible luck, they bumped into Miles and his two friends in the hotel lobby.


    "Look who it is!" Miles smirked at the sight of Wilbur and Bailey.


    Bailey frowned, hiding behind Wilbur.


    Wilbur frowned. "Don''t get yourself into trouble."


    "I''m looking for trouble? I could get you killed at the drop of a hat!" Miles said haughtily.


    Wilbur chuckled. "Sounds impressive. Does your family know how powerful you are?"


    "How dare you! Mister Jarn''s the CEO of apany worth billions of dors, and he''s here to discuss a business partnership with the Lion Hero Gang. Have you heard of them? They''re one of the biggest gangs in Gamuda City, they could get you killed just like that!" one of Miles'' friends bragged.


    Wilbur chuckled. "Really? Somehow I don''t quite believe it."


    "You don''t, huh? All I have to do is make one phone call, and you''d be dead before you even know why! Behave yourself in front of me," Miles said coldly.


    Wilbur sneered. "You should be the one behaving. Cocky and rude, I''ve taken out quite a few bastards like you before."


    The words made Miles and his friends re up in fury at once.


    They were a big deal in Dasha and practically treated like gods as honored guests of one of the biggest gangs here.


    They had always gotten their way and had never been spoken to quite like this.


    "You''re looking to die, aren''t you?" Miles shouted, and two bodyguards ran up behind him to glower at Wilbur.


    "Drag him out of here, and teach him a lesson," Miles ordered, and the bodyguards began walking over to Wilbur at once.


    Wilbur chuckled. Bailey seemed a little nervous and tugged at Wilbur''s sleeve.
