"I''ll go, I''ll go!" Jack screamed at the top of his lungs, ovee with terror.


    Cade chuckled. He waved a hand, and the Pitbully down obediently.


    "Go on. Your debt will be cleared after this is done," Cade smiled.


    Jack could only nod, getting up and heading out.


    After he was gone, Cade let out a sneer.


    An elder piped up from next to him then. "Boss, I think this Wilbur Penn guy''s at least at the Ambience level. You should be careful."


    "Ambience? What''s there to be afraid of?" Cade smiled.


    The elder lit up with excitement. "Have you advanced to another level, Boss?"


    "Oh, not yet. I''m still just pre-Sanctuary." Despite Cade''s humble tone, he could not hide the look of absolute pride on his face.


    The elder smiled. "That''ll be enough, then. There''s a world of a difference between Ambience level and pre-Sanctuary. You''ve got nothing to worry about."


    "Invite Sans Kaur, leader of the Hungry Wolf Gang, and Daryl Mondo, leader of the Lion Hero Gang. Let''s get together at Tiger Manor tomorrow," said Cade.


    "What are you trying to do here, Boss?" asked the elder.


    "The three major gangs have been at loggerheads for long enough. I''m going to take the chance to show them just how powerful I am, and also expand our territory," Cade smiled.


    The elder pped in agreement. "Not bad. This guy''s probably really rich, and you''re of pre-Sanctuary level. It''ll be best if the other two gang leaders just give the territory up without us having to do anything."


    "We''ll just have to take all of them out if they don''t act the way we want them to. Gamuda City will belong to the Mighty Tiger Gang after that," Cade said, letting out a loudugh.

    Over in the hotel.


    Wilbur got out of the shower with a towel wrapped around his waist. He poured himself a ss of whiskey, sitting on the couch and sipping from it leisurely.


    Not long after, Bailey emerged from her room in pajamas. Wilbur nced at her. Bailey looked away. "Couldn''t sleep."


    "Well, we can chat or watch television. It is a little early to be asleep, after all," Wilbur smiled.


    Bailey nodded, sitting down on the other end of the couch.


    Wilbur pointed at the whiskey. "Want some?"


    Bailey''s instinct was to say no, but she somehow found herself nodding.


    Wilbur smiled, pouring her a ss, and setting it down in front of her.


    Bailey took a sip, her cheeks flushing almost instantly.


    "Mister Penn, what do you want from Loja?" Bailey asked.


    Wilbur lit a cigarette. "You don''t need to know about that."


    "Oh." Bailey was out of topics and fell silent after that.


    Just then, a knock sounded on the door.


    "Come in," said Wilbur.


    The door was pushed open to reveal a terrified-looking Jack.


    Bailey tensed at the sight of him, straightening up at once.


    Wilbur nced at Jack. "What."


    "M-Mister Penn." Jack gulped, tripping over his words. "Cade Lonen has invited


    you to Tiger Manor tomorrow for a get-together."


    Wilbur chuckled. "A get-together, huh? Sure, tell him I''ll be there on time."


    Jack had not expected to be done with his task so easily.


    He had thought that he would be beaten to a pulp just for showing his face in front of Wilbur.


    A beatter, he smiled bitterly. "Cade doesn''t mean well, Mister Penn. Please be careful."


    Wilbur looked at Jack. "Leave this ce while there''s still hope for you. Don''t keep falling down this path."


    "I know, but what can even be done at this point?" Jack smiled bitterly.
