    Hey guys. Just to correct something. If any of you Bradley cooper fans are angry because I chose Theo


    James ,I''m sorry. I apologize. But still...I still love Theo James and no one Can change that.


    I went to work the next day with a smile on my face. I was going to give Scott an answer today well,


    that''s if the offer still stands. I greeted feli and left to the office. I saw Scott wasn''t here yet. I''ll just wait


    for him. I did the work in my office and saw Scott hadn''te. I didn''t know if he was going toe to


    the office. I proceeded to go downstairs for a break and get something to eat. I left to the cafeteria but I


    saw Scott standing downstairs. I think he heard my footsteps and turned to look at me. He smiled at me


    but I could see the fear in the smile. Give him another chance. Michelle''s voice rang in my head. Well, I


    think its time to give you another chance Scott. I smiled back at him and his face lit up. I started walking


    towards him and he was grinning from ear to ear. I almost reached him if not ady stepped in front of


    me.


    "Scott! How are you? Its been so long. I''ve missed you." A familiar voice said. It sounded so familiar but


    I couldn''t quite put my finger on it.


    "Jasmine, oh my god. Its been so long. I''ve missed you so much. How have you been?" Scott said and


    hugged her. Jasmine! That''s the name. She was thedy who helped me the time Scott kicked me out


    of his house. I felt awkward so I turned to leave.


    "Emilia?" Scott called and I turned to meet his eyes.


    "Do you remember Jasmine? The girl who took care of you when I...uhm, kicked you out. " he says


    nervously.

    "Yes, yes. Its a pleasure to see you again Jasmine. How''ve you been?" I greet and she looked at me


    and I felt intimidated by her beauty again. Her beautiful brown hair was tied up in a ponytail and she


    was wearing a blue jumpsuit and paired it with silver heels. She gave me her million dor smile.


    "Hey, its been so long" she says and hugs me and I hug her back. She pulled back first, the smile still


    evident on her face.


    "So, are you two like dating now?" she asks.


    "No. We are not"


    "Unfortunately, no" I and Scott say at the same time. I looked back to jasmine and I could see relief


    pass through her eyes. What is she relieved from? .


    "Mia, did you want to talk to me?" Scott asks and I remembered why I actually came.


    "Yeah, I did but I can talk to youter. You guys have to catch up. Nice seeing you again Jasmine." I


    say and smile then leave. I went to the cafeteria and met feli. She smiled at me and I smiled back.


    "So...how''s our hot boss treating you?" She asks smirking and I just rolled my eyes. I had my lunch and


    left back to the office. I saw Scott was there already. Well, its now or never.


    "Scott" I called out and he looked up and saw me. I gave him a small smile and he smiled, a mix of


    shock, happiness and surprise mixed on his face.


    "Yeah?" He answered.


    "About that valentine dinner. I never gave you my answer so I want to give you the answer." I told him


    and he looked nervous.


    "Yes Scott. I will like to go to dinner with you." I told him with a smile and he smiled back. I loved that he


    smiled. I love his smile. It makes me happy.

    "Happy valentine day Mia !!!" Beth screamed in my ear with a balloon on my face.


    "Happy valentine day Beth" I replied back with a smile and then she hugged me startling me by


    surprise.


    "Thank you Mia for everything. Thank you so much. I love you. Best sister ever." She said and I felt my


    shirt getting wet and knew she was crying. I also had tears in my eyes and hugged her back so much.


    "I love you too Beth. Best little sister ever." I replied back and hugged her like if I released her, she


    would disappear. After our little sister bonding time, we stayed in and watched a marathon of ''friends''


    and ''ugly betty'' and had pizza with some sugar filled goodies and then it was time for my date. Scott


    said I should just wear what I woulde befortable in. Great answer right..... Not. I settled for a


    blue y gown and a ck denim jacket and ck ts. I put my hair up in a neat ponytail and put on


    some powder mascara and pink lip gloss. I looked nice. It was already eight o''clock and Scott wasn''t


    here yet. Maybe, its the traffic. It was already eight forty five and he wasn''t here yet so I decided to call


    him but looked like he started calling me so I pressed the ''ept'' button.


    "Hey Scott. Your not here yet. What''s wrong?" I asked.


    "Yeah. Emilia, I''m so-"


    "Scott, who''s that?" A familiar female voice said in the background.


    "I''m so sorry. I told Jasmine about our date and she was really happy but then she got sick. I have to


    stay with her because she couldn''t go back to her friend''s ce today. She will be going next week so I


    said she could stay at my house but now she''s sick and I have to stay with her at home. I''m sorry Mia


    but....I can''t make it." He apologized. I felt empty. I dressed up for nothing.


    "Mia? Are you there?" Scott said and I cut off the phone. He stood me up. Wow. Why am I even


    surprised? I let out a bitterugh. Beth asked how the dinner went and well...I was blunt. I told her Scott


    stood me up and she insulted him. I went to sleep with only one thought.


    He chose me over Jasmine.
