    "I don''t know," Debra replied, her tone clipped. "But for now, he''s our only lead. Let''s just hope he''s still alive. Otherwise, we''ll be back to square one."


    Gand''s nerves tightened at her words.


    Back then, Juan had handed Edgar over to the Eaton family, and they''d discreetly stashed him overseas.

    "I was worried you guys might think I had ulterior motives." Gand forced a sheepish smile.

    Gand shivered, feeling something sinister about her smile. Stomaching the unease, he stiffly followed her upstairs.
