Chapter 823

But not only did Sebastian not leave, he sat there on the sofa, pletely unfazed.

He loungedzily, having noticed a pattern. Natalie was actually a little afraid of him. The moment he acted a bit more dominant, she became like a wounded kitten, shing out defensively and trying to escape.

Observing closely, he realized she still had feelings for him. Her words were harsh, but she didn''t actually recoil from his presence.

She still had feelings for him. A wave of profound joy washed over him.

He raised an eyebrow, a rxed smile on his face. “Natalie, are you afraid of me?”

"Why would I be afraid of you?" Natalie didn''t understand why he was asking that. "Why would you be afraid of me?"

Sebastian''s eyes were fixed on her. She was bluffing, her gaze flickering away. “Natalie, if you''re not afraid, why are you avoiding me?"

Natalie was speechless. Here he went again.

She couldn''t figure out the man Sebastian had be.

Sean had told her that Sebastian only smiled when he was angry.

He was smiling now, which meant he was angry.

Natalie didn''t answer his question, because Vincent started to cry.

"Waaah..." Vincent wailed, startling Natalie. “Shh, baby, don''t cry. Did your uncle scare you? I''ll smack him for youter. He was just bullying your auntie. Please don''t cry, okay?"

She stood up, holding him, and paced a few steps.

When Sebastian heard her casually refer to him as "uncle," his lips curled up involuntarily.

He stood up and asked, "Is he hungry?"

Natalie pointed to the pink diaper bag. “There''s a bottle of form in there. Can you get it for me?"

It was her first time taking care of a baby, and she felt a bit overwhelmed.

Sebastian stood, rummaged through the bag, and found the small, cute baby bottle. His heart softened. He walked over and handed it to Natalie.

Natalie sat back down on the sofa and put the nipple in the baby''s mouth. The little guy tasted the form, and after a couple of sucks, he instantly stopped crying. He opened his big eyes and looked around, and when he saw Natalie, he even cracked a little grin.

His adorable expression melted her heart. She smiled and reminded him, "Hey, stop smiling or you''ll choke."

But the little guy didn''t understand and just kept on grinning.

He would drink for a few moments, then pause to look at Natalie and smile.

Sebastian stood by, watching, and found himself in an inexplicably good mood.

“Ah, ah, ya...” The little guy, happy now, started babbling at Natalie.

Natalie looked into his bright, clear eyes, feeling overjoyed. "You''re so much fun, Vincen ow can you be

so cute? Your auntie adores you.”

Her voice was soft and sweet, making Sebastian''s heart melt as well.

"He''s adorable," Sebastian added from the side.

Natalie nced at him but said nothing.

She rocked the baby gently. "My little Vincent is so cute."

The words "Let''s have one of our

own," were on the tip of Sebastian''s tongue but remembering how aquated shed been earlier, he Swed them.

    "Where''s his mother?" Sebastian asked.

"She went to see the chiseled hunks."

    Sebastian frowned. "The what?"

Natalie pointed downwards. "The basement level."

Sebastian understood and smiled. "Why didn''t you go?"

"Not my type. I like the pretty boys."

    Sebastian was rendered speechless.

The memory of the kid from that afternoon calling him “sir" still annoyed him.

"So, you like that boy you were street dancing with at noon?"

Natalie gave him a look as if he were crazy. "Sebastian, how can you even ask that? If I didn''t like you back then why would have married you? I''m not some cheap person who''d marry the first man she sees.”
