?Chapter 810:
“What was that?” Moises interjected sharply. “Are you a student at the University?”
Elena was Moises’s most cherished student, and he understood her character deeply. She wasn’t just brilliant—she was also exceptionally kind, always eager to help those around her. He was prepared to defend his student against any defamation.
Moises’s expression hardened as Susanna briefly stuttered, “Yes. Professor Haywood, I am Susanna Wace, studying in the College of Liberal Arts at the University…”
Moises responded coolly, barely hiding his disdain, “I see. I’ll be having a word with your dean about how the University students seem to engage in rumor-mongering and insults. I doubt such behavior is endorsed by your university.”
Susanna was dumbfounded. Was she hearing this right? She stood frozen, stunned by the thought. Moises was actually going to speak to the dean about her spreading rumors and insulting others? She hadn’t instigated any rumors!
Susanna quickly defended herself. “Professor Haywood, I assure you I haven’t been spreading rumors. The truth is this woman has never been to college and has giarized for years! Surely, that raises questions?”
“You said Elena hasn’t attended university?” Moises asked, disbeliefcing his voice as he gazed at Susanna like she was a fool. Elena was the youngest doctoral graduate in Imperial University’s history and the first honorary alumna from Houis in the school’s century-long existence. She was an exceptional talent, a rare kind of genius. What university wouldn’t be proud to have a student like her?
Susanna’s assertion that Elena had not attended university baffled Moises.
Choosing to ignore someone as dense as Susanna, Moises turned to Mylo. “Do you teach at the University?”
Mylo, misinterpreting Moises’s concern about Elena disrupting his lecture, dered, “Yes, Professor Haywood. I’ll handle this right away. We will not allow this woman’s presence to interfere with your teachings.”

Moises was once again left in stunned silence. What was the nature of this institution? To think that not only students but also faculty were misinformed was troubling. A simple nce at Imperial University’s official website would have revealed the truth: the very Elena they used of never attending college was listed as an honorary alumna! And now they nned to exclude her? Such a decision was unreasonable. They should be doing everything they can to nurture such talent, not drive her away. Only a fool would make such a mistake!
Moises’s patience wore thin, his features setting sternly. “Did I hear correctly that you intend to expel my student?”
“Professor Haywood, I—I’m sorry, what did you just say?” Mylo’s eyes went wide, and for a second, he nearly choked on his own words. Elena was one of Moises’s students? That meant she had studied at Imperial University.
Compared to Imperial University, the University didn’t evene close. While the University was considered the pride of Houis, its global ranking barely made the top twenty. Imperial University, on the other hand, sat firmly at the very top of the international rankings—undisputed.
Mylo pulled off his sses and gave them a quick wipe, staring at Elena like he was seeing her for the first time. This woman had graduated from Imperial University. Yet, moments ago, Susanna had imed she’d never even set foot in a college.
