Chapter 1146

    ?Chapter 1146:

But before I could do anything, her hand went limp, and her eyelids fluttered shut, a peaceful smile settling on her face. Her breaths stopped, and her body grew colder by the second.

I was rooted to the spot, like time itself had stopped dead in its tracks. “Rosaline… Rosaline, please wake up…” I held her close, my heart shattering as tears streamed down my face, blurring everything in front of me.

Then, suddenly, a cruelugh broke through the stillness. I snapped my head up to find Antoni standing nearby, a smug grin stered across his face. He moved closer, his voice sending a chill down my spine as he said, “How sweet. But it’s too bad… none of you are walking out of here today!”

Leonardo was beside him, looking as pale as a ghost, but there was a smug, victorious gleam in his eyes, like he had already tasted victory.

I jerked my head up, fury burning in my eyes. They were the ones who had taken Rosaline from me! I would make them pay!

I forced myself to breathe, carefullyying Rosaline down, and then I stood, my gaze hard as stone, locking onto Antoni and Leonardo.

    “You all… must die!”

    Makenna’s POV:

Antoni raised an eyebrow, his grin widening. “You think you can do that? Don’t get ahead of yourselves.”

It was obvious that he and Leonardo had everything mapped out. With just a flick of his wrist, the wizard soldiers he had brought swiftly surrounded us. The three princes and Jett immediately took their ce beside me, their faces tense, as though prepared to fight to the very end.

“Stay sharp, there are too many of them,” Jett murmured.

I gave a quick nod, but the anger inside me was already boiling over, my eyes locked on Antoni and Leonardo. In that moment, one thought filled my mind—destroy them all!

The fight broke out again, both sides shing with everything they had. The three princes moved like lightning through the enemy ranks, pushing them back. Jett gave his all, fighting to keep me safe. But there were just too many of them. Their strikes hit us relentlessly, like a storm, and we slowly began losing ground.

“Watch out!” Bryan yelled suddenly, catching me off guard. His voice carried a sense of urgency I had never heard before.

Before I could even react, he darted forward and shoved me out of the way. Then, an arrow whistled past, striking Bryan’s shoulder with brutal force.

“Bryan!” I gasped in shock as I watched him copse, blood pouring from the wound and soaking his clothes. His face turned ashen, his brow creased with pain, sweat dripping down his face. Still, he managed to smile at me, enduring the agony.

yton rushed to his side, panic in his voice. “How are you holding up?”

Bryan gave a faint smile, his voice barely audible. “I’m alright, not dead yet.”

I stood there, staring at Bryan’s pained face, my heart heavy with sorrow. Rage boiled inside me. Desperation consumed me.

Bryan had been hurt while protecting me, and I couldn’t do a thing to fix it. I nced around, and the enemies kepting, an endless wave.

Antoni’sugh echoed, filled with triumph and mockery. “Makenna, looks like today’s yourst day!”

“Shut your mouth!” I yelled, tightening my grip on my weapon, my eyes burning with fury as I locked onto Antoni and Leonardo. “If I go down, you’reing with me!”
