Chapter 805

    ?Chapter 805:

I wanted to tell her not to worry about me, but once Alice set her mind on something, there was no changing it. She even asked Amon to look after me a bit more.

Her actions were both heartwarming and kind of amusing.

I couldn’t help but be touched by her willingness to abandon her own ns and put her safety aside just to stay with me. It was also a bit funny to see her so tense, as though we were about to face some life-or-death showdown.

But with Alice and Evie by my side, I felt a little lighter.

No matter what happened, I knew they’d always have my back. And with that, I couldn’t help but feel that there was nothing to fear.

    Makenna’s POV

As Christmas drew near, the pce was alive with bustling activity.

Even the three princes, usually ever-present, seemed caught up in some urgent matters, leaving me with the odd sensation of their absence. It had been some time since I had seen them.

At first, I found a strange sense of relief in their absence, but that feeling quickly morphed into something else—a quiet stir of disappointment I couldn’t quite exin.

And Jett… ever since that awkward, chaotic night, it was as if he had vanished into thin air, avoiding me at every turn.

I had tried reaching out to discuss Antoni’s situation with him, but no luck—he was nowhere to be found. His absence only seemed to intensify the restlessness in my chest.

Then, Christmas arrived, almost as if it had snuck up on me. We donned our finest gowns and made our way toward the garden, the venue for the evening’s banquet.

The moment I stepped into the garden, I was immediately struck by its breathtaking beauty.

    ?????????????? ???????? ?????????? ???? ??????????ν????????????

Snowkes drifted from the sky like delicate little dancers, floating and twirling before gently settling into the corners of the garden.

The trees were dressed in a festive array of colorful lights—reds, greens, yellows—and wreaths of pine branches and crimson ribbons hung from every corner, filling the air with a faint, refreshing pine scent. The chill in the air only added to the magical atmosphere, making it feel as though the garden itself had been plucked from a winter wondend. Wrapped warmly in a fluffy coat, I slowly took my seat, my eyes scanning the scenery and taking it all in.

For reasons I couldn’t fully exin, the heavy unease in my heart began to fade as I let the beauty of the scene surround me.

“So beautiful!” Alice murmured beside me, her voice full of admiration. I nodded in agreement, a soft smile tugging at my lips. “Yes, it feels like this year has flown by, just like the gentle fall of snowkes.”

“The king and the princes have arrived!” Suddenly, someone’s voice rang out, cutting through the calm of our conversation.

We fell silent, instinctively turning our gaze toward the entrance.

Leonardo entered first, his regal presencemanding the room. Behind him, the princes followed, each tall and handsome, their elegant suits exuding an unmistakable air of nobility.

They made their way to the front of the venue, where they took their seats with practiced grace.

Leonardo, with his authoritative voice, began a formal speech that echoed through the garden.

But then, his gaze fell upon us sex ves, and his voice shifted to one of disappointment. “You’ve been in the pce for over a year, and yet only Makenna has been pregnant. Truly disappointing.”
