?Chapter 1061:
Gradually, Susanna’s face fell. She was just a poor student who didn’t like studying!
She didn’t want to study now!
But she couldn’t reject Ellie’s concern for her.
Daniel said, “I’ve contacted several eye specialists. They wille here soon to examine you. Don’t worry, Ellie, we’ll take good care of you.”
There was no need for him to say more since his cousins had already informed Ellie.
Remembering Glenn’s words, Daniel added, “And we’ll protect the baby in your belly.”
“Thank you, Daniel.”
In the midsummer heat, the sun zed.
Suddenly, there was a knock at the door.
June opened it to reveal Kaiden in a high-end suit, holding tworge stic bags that didn’t match his appearance.
Cold air wafted from the bags, which contained meat and chicken preserved with ice.
Kaiden noticed Daniel sitting on the sofa.
They exchanged nces. Daniel wasn’t surprised to see Kaiden; he knew that Glenn had arranged for Kaiden to be Ellie’s cook.
But Susanna was unaware!
Susanna looked at Kaiden. Just as she was about to greet him, Daniel quickly stood up and covered her mouth.
“Hm…”
“Susanna?” Ellie asked, puzzled by the noise.
Daniel firmly held Susanna and said calmly, “Ellie, Susanna isn’t feeling well. I’ll take her to the hospital.”
“What? She seemed fine a moment ago,” Ellie replied, not having noticed anything wrong during their conversation.
“I’ll take her back now and visit you another day,” Daniel said, pulling Susanna out.

May had an idea and whispered in Ellie’s ear, “Susanna has her period.”
“Oh, I see,” Ellie said, suddenly understanding.
Some girls felt quite ufortable during their period and even needed painkillers to cope with it.
After watching Daniel and Susanna leave, Kaiden closed the door and said, “I’m back.”
Ellie nodded.
Her reaction was indifferent. Even though it was typical for an employer, Kaiden still felt a bit disappointed.
He took off his coat and headed to the kitchen, with June following him. “Mrs. Thorpe, do you need my help? If you’re not good at cooking, I can handle it,” June offered.
Kaiden rolled up his sleeves and replied, “No.”
If he wanted someone else to cook for him, he could just have the finished dishes delivered.
June asked, “Can you prepare these two dishes?”
Kaiden checked his phone, where he found the cooking instructions from the chef at Moon Manor. He had brought back semi-finished meals from Moon Manor, plete with all the seasoning. All he needed to do was cook them.
