Chapter 1034

    ?Chapter 1034:

The Bluetooth earphone remained in ce, and the executives in the meeting room overheard their CEO’s words. They were puzzled.

“There isn’t much to handle at thepany today? If that was the case, why would they have a video meeting with Kaiden?” they wondered.

Kaiden leaned over and kissed Ellie on the lips. He felt no resistance from her, which instantly lifted his somber mood from the night before. He couldn’t resist kissing her again.

“I haven’t brushed my teeth yet. Don’t kiss me,” Ellie said, turning her face away. Their faces were close, and Ellie’s voice came through the Bluetooth earphone.

The executives in the meeting room felt awkward. They kept silent, not daring to speak.

“Do you need help changing? What do you want to wear today?” Kaiden asked cheerfully. If Ellie wouldn’t let him kiss her lips, he’d settle for kissing her cheek.

The embarrassment among the executives grew.

“Ah… should we really be hearing this?” they wondered silently.

“Kaiden, I want to organize for some people toe to Moon Manor,” Ellie announced after a night of contemtion. Kaiden’s brow furrowed slightly in response. He disliked others encroaching on his domain.

The household staff in the main building had been with him for at least four years.

Kaiden ended the Bluetooth call and told Ellie, “Okay.” He didn’t object?

Still somewhat groggy from just waking up, her face disyed clear surprise. Kaiden lifted her and ced her on the bench in the dressing room, selecting her casual attire for the day.

Ellie valued herfort. When staying indoors, she wore a variety of loungewear, all incrediblyfortable.

“I’ll only arrange for two people to assist with my daily needs. They won’t enter the master bedroom,” Ellie stated. “I’ll have them meet you first.”

Kaiden grimaced. She didn’t trust him and insisted on having her own people care for her.

“Kaiden,” Ellie stated firmly. “I can’t let any harme to our baby.”

Kaiden furrowed his brow. “El, it’s critical for you to receive the treatment right away.” Otherwise, he wouldn’t have taken this step.

“Kaiden, don’t you get it? I don’t care!”

Ellie’s previously contained anger resurfaced. A mother’s instinct to protect her child might be iprehensible to her husband, especially one who hadn’t even seen his own baby.

    “Alright,” Kaiden eventually conceded.

Ellie delegated the task of arranging personnel to Harry. They needed individuals who could care for a pregnant woman, exhibit tact in their approach, and be female without hidden agendas — a challengingbination to find.

By the third day, Harry had finally identified a few suitable candidates, and Ellie instructed him to bring them to Moon Manor.

Kaiden had been keeping watch over Ellie for the past two days, skipping office visits. After lunch, he was working in the living room while waiting for Harry.

“Just choose two people you think are suitable. I won’t be there when you make the selection,” Ellie told Kaiden.

Harry was aware of her vision impairment but didn’t realize she waspletely blind.

“Are you worried Harry will discover your eye condition?” Kaiden perceived Ellie’s concern. His tone carried a hint of sarcasm, as if implying, “You know this isn’t quite right, don’t you?”
