?Chapter 1030:
She really liked it!
She adored the decor and the smart home gadgets!
Levy gestured toward the master bedroom. “The sheets were changed yesterday. I haven’t slept there yet. You can go in and get settled. I’ll put Coal Ball’s stuff in the living room and then head out.”
Flossie wanted to offer to do it herself, but Levy had already begun, so she could only thank him.
She rolled her suitcase into the bedroom, shut the door, and saw the fresh, untouched dark blue sheets, which made her heart race once more.
He wouldn’t be spending the night here.
He hade because she had called him.
Flossie had been adamant about maintaining her distance from Levy.
Yet tonight’s events seemed like a twist of fate.
Her heart was conflicted.
In the living room, Coal Ball, curious about the new surroundings, watched as Flossie entered the bedroom and shut the door, attempting to follow her.
Midway there, Levy grabbed it by the scruff of its neck.
“Male dogs should keep their distance from their female owners, understand?” He nced disapprovingly at Coal Ball.
Coal Ball barked loudly, “Woof! Woof! Woof!”
Levy released Coal Ball and began arranging his bed, food, toys, and treats. Coal Ball nudged the bedroom door but couldn’t open it. Suddenly, he heard the sound of a can being opened.
His small ck form instinctively turned toward the noise, his dark eyes shining.
Well, his owner would eventuallye out, so he might as well eat first! Coal Ball barked at Levy, who was holding his food, before happily digging into his canned meal.
“I bought this can,” Levy mentioned.

Coal Ball, with food in his mouth, nced up.
Levy crouched down, pointed at the can, and repeated slowly, “I bought this can.”
Flossie emerged from the master bedroom to find only Coal Ball in the living room, standing near the can, torn between wanting to eat and fearing it might be poisoned, his little head bobbing up and down.
She got a message from Levy on her phone. “I’ve left. Make yourselffortable, and let me know if you need anything. Good night.” Flossie absentmindedly tapped her phone.
Suddenly, she spotted a chair near the floor-to-ceiling window in her peripheral vision.
It didn’t fit the room’s style and had clearly been ced there for the owner’s frequent use.
Intrigued by the view Levy often enjoyed, she approached the chair. Peering out, she spotted her former balcony!
Kaiden attended an international meeting that day and got back home around eleven at night.
He quietly opened the master bedroom door to peek at Ellie before he showered.
To his surprise, Ellie wasn’t in bed.
The room was dimly lit.
