Chapter 1013

    ?Chapter 1013:

Harry nced at the bodyguards apanying Carole with a questioning look. One of the bodyguards exined, “She’s blind.”

    “Oh,” Harry chuckled.

Before hisughter faded, a hand shoved Carole roughly.

    “Ah!”

Blind and in a state of panic, Carole stumbled down the stairs. “Help! Help!”

The bodyguards hesitated to intervene. Harry gave them a cold stare. “Leave her be.”

After uttering those words, Harry nced at the bodyguards he had brought along.

Fearing a potential conflict at the psychiatric hospital, Harry brought over ten people to ensure Ellie’s safety. If the bodyguards intended to assist Carole, they’d have to confront Harry first.

The bodyguards remained silent, preferring not to get involved in a confrontation.

Sore all over, Carole struggled to rise, trembling with fear of another fall. Darkness engulfed her since she had lost her sight, filling her with unending terror. Sensing someone approaching, she hadn’t reacted before her hair was seized, and she was forcibly lifted, feeling her scalp being torn.

“Ah! Help! Kaiden, help me! Ellie, I’ll sue you for hurting me!”

“You want to sue me, huh?” Harry mmed her head onto the floor. “Even if I intentionally hurt you, what can you do about it?”

“Who… who are you?” Carole asked in terror.

“Come on, don’t overestimate your importance to Mr. Thorpe. You are an utterly shameless woman. And you dare provoke my boss? Who gave you permission to provoke her? Don’t you know she’s pregnant? Trying to provoke a pregnant woman? You’re asking for trouble.”

Harry mmed Carole’s head onto the floor repeatedly. Her forehead quickly turned bloody.

“You… you work for Ellie?” Carole’s voice trembled with fear. “I want to see Kaiden. Kaiden, help! Someone’s trying to kill me.”

    Kaiden had already left.

The bodyguards observed with icy detachment. Others in the psychiatric hospital showed no response to the unfolding events.

“If I made a mistake, Ellie would only strike back once with her fake kindness. If I didn’t err, she wouldn’te after me. I’ll take legal action against you,” Carole spat.

    At Carole’s words, Harry scoffed.

“Carole, did you really think I could do this without approval from my boss? As long as you survive, a little blood means nothing. Our boss is gentle and doesn’t hurt anyone.”

“Pah! She’s so vindictive. Doesn’t she fear that karma will affect her unborn…” Carole couldn’t finish her curse since her jaw was out of ce. She cried out in pain.

“If you can’t talk nicely, then keep quiet. You should thank your lucky stars that thew has kept your tongue and your life safe.”

Harry got to his feet, straightened his clothes, and nonchntly justified his actions to the bodyguards. “Take good care of the patients here. Self-harm often happens in ces like this, don’t you think?”

The bodyguards responded, “Um, yes, you’re right.”

They were quite impressed by what Harry had done and said.
