?Chapter 1011:
Her naps during pregnancy typicallysted two to three hours.
Kaiden left with her medical report.
About half an hourter, Harry’s call woke Ellie up.
“Boss, Mr. Thorpe is at the psychiatric hospital.”
At those words, Ellie felt wide awake, no longer sleepy at all.
She struggled wearily to sit up and said, “Come to Moon Manor right away to pick me up. Tell Cayson there’s an issue at Rich Bar that I need to address in person.”
“Got it.”
The scenery outside the window rushed past as the understated ck Maybach sped along.
Harry had arranged everything in advance. Ellie entered the psychiatric hospital without any obstacles, apanied by Harry.
Several people exited the hospital building.
Kaiden led the way, with Carole supported by one of his bodyguards following close behind.
Ellie stood motionless, feeling as if a bucket of ice water had been dumped over her.
Her eyes reacted strongly to the disturbing sight before her, and the pain was overwhelming.
When Kaiden saw Ellie before him, he briefly tensed up before rushing towards her. The bodyguards halted together, nervously eyeing Ellie.
“What’s the matter?” Carole inquired.
Since losing her sight, Carole had be more sensitive to emotions, but no one answered her. All the people around her worked for Kaiden, and naturally, they wouldn’t respond, especially when it involved Ellie.
Ellie was experiencing intermittent ckouts in her vision, blinking to ease the difort in her eyes.
“Weren’t you resting? Why are you here?” Kaiden frowned, moving surprisingly fast to reach Ellie in an instant.

Feeling guilty, he instinctively gripped her hand tightly, preventing her from pulling away.
“If I hadn’te, how would I have known you were lying to me?” Ellie looked directly at Kaiden, her vision already blurred. It wasn’t tears causing it, but the blurriness itself.
Ellie admired her ability to maintain the conversation as if nothing were wrong, despite knowing her eyesight was worsening.
“I didn’t deceive you,” Kaiden said, gently tucking a strand of Ellie’s hair behind her ear.
“You just didn’t find the time to tell me, right?” Ellie snorted, following his reasoning.
Kaiden remained silent for a moment. “Yes.”
“Three days ago, the day you got back to Critport, you met with Carole, correct?”
“Yes.”
“At that moment, I asked why you wereteing home and if something had held you up. You didn’t lie to me. You did mention you were dyed by something,” Ellie sighed and shook her head.
She shook her head with a bitterugh. “It’s on me for not probing further. You didn’t lie to me, you just didn’t say more. But Kaiden, while I waited for you at home for so many days, worrying and making excuses for you, you went to see another woman the very day you returned and even took her to the hospital. What am I supposed to think?”
