?Chapter 791:
The two stayed awake until dawn. Despite Kaiden’s usual punctuality in waking up ording to his biological clock, he failed to do so this time. Kaiden was startled awake by the ringing of his phone. Frowning impatiently, he answered the call.
“Sir, there’s been an incident. Your father sent someone to retrieve your mother.”
Cayson’s urgent voice jolted Kaiden into full wakefulness. Ellie, originally half-asleep, instantly woke up when she felt Kaiden’s body tense and the atmosphere around them shift abruptly.
Two luxurious Rolls-Royces were parked at the entrance of Moon Manor, where a group of elegantly dressed individuals were deep in discussion with Cayson.
The one leading the conversation was the butler from the Thorpe family. “Why is Mr. Thorpe’s approval necessary to take thedy with us?” the old butler inquired coldly.
Cayson remained calm and replied, “I’m here serving Mr. Thorpe, so I must follow his instructions.”
Upon their arrival, Ellie and Kaiden walked into the ongoing dispute between the butlers.
“Mr. Thorpe, Mrs. Thorpe,” the old butler greeted them, then continued to exin, “We’re here to pick up thedy. The master is missing her deeply and wishes for her to be by his side from now on.”
Ellie’s eyes widened with shock. How could this butler boldly make such a im, as if it were righteous?
If Jorge truly cared about Brisa, he wouldn’t have left her in a nursing home!
Before Ellie and Kaiden had a chance to speak, the old butler continued, “I’ve already spoken with thedy, and she’s agreed toe with me. You know how she’s doing; it’s not right to go against her wishes. It could harm her, both physically and mentally.”
It almost sounded like a threat. Kaiden’s face grew cold.
At that moment, Cayson received a call from the main house.

He looked serious as he said to Kaiden, “Sir, thedy insists on going.”
The old butler smiled smugly, confident in his victory.
A short whileter, they, along with the old butler, walked into Moon Manor and headed for the main building.
Brisa, though emotionally shaken, felt better when she saw Ellie and the others.
“Why didn’t you tell me your father was sick?” She went straight to Kaiden, saying, “And these staff won’t let me go!”
Kaiden remained quiet under his mother’s usations and anger.
“Mom, didn’t we agree you’d stay here with us?” Ellie softly nudged Brisa, taking her hand in hers.
Brisa had almost forgotten about her promise, but Ellie’s nudge reminded her. “I can’t stay now. His father is unwell, and he needs me!” Brisa said, a small smile ying on her lips. “It’s rare for him to need me like this!”
Ellie’s smile became strained as she insisted, “Mom, there are caretakers and servants to look after him. If it worries you, I’ll make sure we visit him often.” Brisa pulled her hand away and walked decisively towards the old butler.
