Chapter 392

    ?Chapter 392:

As usual, his bedroom stamina was more than she could handle. But tonight, Ellie sensed Kaiden was settling the score for her earlier interruptions.

Feeling like a fish out of water, she struggled to catch her breath and keep up with his pace.

    “Kaiden, I’m so tired.”

Ellie pleaded for him to finish as he pressed her against the French window.

Without any constraints, Kaiden utilized the privacy of his estate to his advantage. The thrill was too much for her.

Kaiden’s lips brushed against her ear as he whispered, “You wanted milk tea, didn’t you? I’ll make sure someone brings it to youter.”

Damn, the milk tea! Now she longed for nothing but sleep!

Exhausted and frustrated, Ellie couldn’t find the energy to speak. Kaiden was doing it on purpose, deliberately pushing her buttons!

After having restrained himself for several days, Kaiden finally shared some intimate moments with Ellie, cleaning her up in the bathroom before cing her on the bed. Afterward, he took a long, cold shower alone to quell his unsatisfied desire.

When he crawled back into bed, Ellie scooted to the other side.

“You’re cold, don’t touch me,” she murmured, shunning him.

Nothing could dampen his mood now. He stepped out of bed, waiting patiently for the chill to pass from his body before rejoining her.

“Ellie, why did you leave the Rich Bar when you saw me there?” he inquired, drawing her close and nting a kiss on her hair.

Sleepy and exhausted, Ellie had no interest in getting into it.

But Kaiden was curious to know the reason.

“There was someone I didn’t know,” she replied irritably, burying her head in the pillow. “Just let me sleep!”

Who didn’t she know? Was it Carole, he wondered.

Ellie’ste night tranted into a challenging day at work. Luckily, today’s tasks were straightforward, mainly focused on finalizing the schedule for her uing trip to Meloria for the Light show.

“Miss Gordon, are you feeling unwell today?” a concerned colleague inquired.

“No,” Ellie instinctively denied. “I just had trouble sleepingst night.” It was, of course, all Kaiden’s fault!

How could he go to bedter than her, wake up earlier, and still be more energetic?

A sudden inquiry interrupted the conversation. “What is Essence doing here?”

The clicking of high heels could be heard, growing louder as Essence approached.

Ellie let out a yawn and nced up, locking eyes with Essence. Since the recent scandal that cost Essence a hefty million dors for spreading baseless rumors, Ellie hadn’t crossed paths with her. However, Essence’s coboration with MOON Jewelry was ongoing, so her presence wasn’t surprising.

With casual disinterest, Ellie averted her attention, avoiding eye contact as Essence stood confidently before her.

Unperturbed, Essence asked, “Miss Gordon, are you free tonight? How about we catch up?”
