Chapter 1638

    ?Chapter 1638:

“Bonnie, are you really that sure of yourself?” Jaxen asked, a faint chuckle in his voice. Behind that casual tone, he was already turning over less innocent calctions.

“Having confidence isn’t a bad thing,” Christina replied calmly.

“That’s true,” Jaxen agreed, his grin widening even as his eyes stayed cool. Belief in oneself was fine, he thought — but too much of it tipped into conceit, and conceit invited disaster. Still, if Christina stumbled, it wouldn’t be a problem. If anything, it might give him the perfect chance to take her punishment instead.

“I know you’re going toe out on top!” La called out. “Bonnie, you’ve got this!”

“Of course,” Christina answered, her confidence unhurried and absolute.

Her three brothers watched her with fond smiles. Whatever she chose to do, they would stand behind her without question. They had even quietly agreed among themselves that if she lost, they would shoulder the consequences for her. But seeing howposed and assured she looked, they grew more convinced by the minute that losing wasn’t even a possibility.

As they considered everything their sister was capable of, a wave of amazement swept over them. Could she really be exceptionally good at golf too? If her skill matched what they suspected, then standing beside her might make them look like mere essories.

Each of the three brothers was aplished in his own right, celebrated wherever he went — but next to their sister, even prodigies could feel overshadowed. That was what it meant to have an even more gifted younger sibling: pride, bright and genuine, ced with an undeniable touch of humility. They excelled in their individual fields, while their astonishing sister seemed to glide effortlessly across countless arenas, shining even among the elite. Outsiders might assume she relied on her brothers for support — but the truth was, they were often the ones lifted by her.

That truth was proven the instant Christina sent the ball onto the green with a single drive.

“Are you kidding me?! Straight onto the green in one shot!” Gerry blurted out, pletely stunned.

Jordy stood frozen. Bain maintained hisposure on the surface, though his mind was reeling. The Wade siblings looked no less shocked. If she could reach the green in one swing, what did that make all of their earlier efforts? Utterly humbling.

Jordy snapped out of it and turned toward Christina, ughing with unrestrained excitement. “You’re unreal! First ce is basically guaranteed now.” His earlier instinct had been right — his little sister was going to win. He had once thought that someone who already mastered so many things couldn’t possibly dominate even more. That assumption had beenughably wrong. A mind like hers operated on a level he couldn’t begin to grasp.

The Wade siblings forced polite smiles, but inwardly they were miserable. If Christina’s team took first ce, they would be stuck at the bottom. They had originally nned to punish Christina — maybe even stage a dramatic rescue afterward — but now it was their own necks on the line. Who could ept a reversal like that?

With everyone watching, Christina stepped up for her next shot. She brought the club down with the same unhurried ease, as though this were nothing more than a casual pastime.

The result was jaw-dropping. The ball rolled cleanly into the hole on her second strike.

“Unbelievable! On a par five — Bonnie finished it in two!” Gerry shouted, sprinting forward. He rushed over, lifted Christina off the ground, and spun her around in sheer excitement. “Bonnie, you’re incredible! You have to teach me!”
