?Chapter 1580:
Once Christina had changed, they made their way to Bethel’s ward. But the moment they stepped inside, they were abruptly stopped.
“You are not needed here. Leave now.” Katie’s stare was cold enough to cut.
Ynda lowered her voice. “Christina, please don’t make things worse. We’re taking care of Bethel. You have nothing to worry about.”
Christina let out a sharp, humorlessugh, her eyes filled with open hostility.
“You? Taking care of Bethel? Let me remind you of something—if it weren’t for all of you, Bethel wouldn’t be fighting for her life right now.”
Joselyn and Brendon remained silent, but their expressions spoke volumes. They were certain Christina would only bring more chaos.
“I’m sorry, Christina. I didn’t mean it that way,” Ynda murmured, her voice trembling as tears welled in her eyes.
Brendon, burdened by guilt toward Ynda, shot Christina an icy re.
“Do you have to be so difficult right now? Look at the situation we’re in. Can’t you see everything’s already falling apart? Stop making it worse.” His tone was drenched in me.
Joselyn looked at Christina with contempt. “You actually think Bethel’s survival was because of you? The doctors saved her. You simply happened to be present.”
Katie chimed in immediately. “Exactly. It’s pathetic how you’re trying to take credit for other people’s work.”
“You should keep quiet. You’re responsible for what happened,” Christina said, her voice like ice.
Katie’s face paled, then flushed with anger. “Responsible? I never meant for Grandma to fall! She recovered, didn’t she? How dare you use me like that? That’s nder. I could sue you!”
A cold smile touched Christina’s lips. She advanced toward them, each step measured and deliberate, an oppressive energy radiating from her.
The four shrank back instinctively, a chill running down their spines. In her panic, Katie stumbled and fell to the floor, wincing in pain.

“Go ahead and sue,” Christina said tly. “But before you do, I’ll make sure the person actually responsible ends up behind bars.”
Katie’s lips trembled, fear creeping into her voice. “Christina, what are you going to do?”
“Get used to the idea of prison life,” Christina replied calmly, as if discussing the weather.
Understanding dawned on Brendon, and his face went pale.
“You called the police, didn’t you?”
“What? The police?” Joselyn’sposure shattered. She whirled on Christina, fury in her eyes. “How could you involve the police? This is a Dawson family matter! It has nothing to do with you! Who gave you the right to interfere?”
Christina’s voice remained cold and steady. “For Bethel’s sake, I’ve put up with all of you long enough. Starting now, I won’t show any of you mercy.”
She paused, then added with chilling certainty, “You’ll all regret ever crossing me.”
Joselyn snapped. She lunged at Christina, hands wing, but Christina easily pushed her aside.
Brendon caught Joselyn just before she hit the floor.
