?Chapter 1581:
“You’re an outsider!” Joselyn screamed, shaking with rage. “You have no business meddling in our family affairs!”
“Joselyn, she may be your biological daughter, but she doesn’t have Dawson blood… Am I right?” Christina asked softly, a glint of amusement in her eyes.
Joselyn’s face turned ashen. Her whole body trembled. “How dare you spread such lies! My daughter is a Dawson through and through!” she stammered.
Katie scrambled to her feet, pointing a shaking finger at Christina. “Stop trying to turn us against each other! I am a Dawson. I have Dawson blood in my veins!”
“Why don’t you ask your mother if I’m just making this up?” Christina arched a brow, a sly smile tugging at her lips.
Katie turned toward Joselyn, her voice trembling as she searched her mother’s face for reassurance. “Mom… is what she’s saying true? Am I really not part of the Dawson family?”
The thought alone made her chest tighten. If it turned out she wasn’t Joselyn and Trevor’s daughter, her life would copsepletely—far worse than any prison sentence.
At least in prison, she would still carry the Dawson name. When she got out, wealth and status would still be waiting for her.
But if she weren’t Trevor’s biological child, she’d be cast out immediately. The Dawsons would never ept her. Even if she avoided prison, she’d lose everything, bing an object of scorn and pity.
“Of course you are! Don’t listen to her lies. You and Brendon are both Dawsons, through and through!” Joselyn blurted out, her voice shaking with panic.
“Did you hear that?” Katie said quickly, seizing the words like a lifeline. “My mother says I’m part of the Dawson family. Stop spreading lies about her!” Her confidence returned in full force. Joselyn wouldn’t lie to her—not about something this important.
“It’s easy enough to prove whether I’m lying,” Christina said coolly, lifting her phone. “I’ll call your father right now and have him arrange a paternity test. That should clear things up.”

As she moved to dial, Joselyn’s face went pale. “No!” she cried, lunging forward.
Christina sidestepped gracefully, and Joselyn’s hands grasped at thin air before she stumbled to the ground. Her reaction spoke volumes.
Robin raised an eyebrow, amusement flickering across his features as he watched the scene unfold.
He hadn’t expected such a scandalous revtion—Joselyn, unfaithful to Trevor, had borne another man’s child.
“Mom…” Katie rushed to help her up.
Her voice trembled as she spoke, a knot of unease tightening in her chest. “Mom, why won’t you let her make the call? We have nothing to hide, right? I’m Dad’s daughter—I’m not afraid of a paternity test!”
Joselyn’s face darkened, her lips pressed tight. She couldn’t bring herself to deny it anymore—the truth was seeping through, bit by bit.
If Trevor found out, divorce was inevitable. And even Brendon would suffer for it.
Though Brendon was Trevor’s biological son, suspicion would taint everything. Trevor would never look at him the same way again.
