?Chapter 1343:
Hurley watched his three sons with a look of disdain before turning his attention to Ophelia’s message once more. He read it over and over, his lips trembling before they curved into a tearful smile.
As the tears streamed down his face, Hurley’s heart ached with remorse. He hadn’t been there for his daughter all these years, hadn’t protected her, hadn’t spared her from suffering.
His chest tightened painfully, his nose stung, and though the tears fell harder, the smile—soft, broken, and full of love—never left his face.
If anyone had walked in on the four Jones men just then, they would have thought the entire family had gone mad.
The three brothers were sprawled in a heap on the floor, wrestling wildly—hair rumpled, shirts half-pulled out of their waistbands, all traces of their usual refinement gone.
Their father, Hurley, sat off to the side on the sofa, clutching his phone, torn between bursts ofughter and tears.
When his gaze fell on his sons still grappling like fools over their sister, he calmly lifted his phone again and made a call.
“Prepare the jet. I’m flying home.”
The moment the words left him, all three brothers froze mid-tangle.
They shot to their feet, hair sticking up every which way, their formerposurepletely shattered.
“Dad! I’ming too!”
“Me as well—let’s go home together!”
“I’ll pack my bags—no, forget it, let’s just leave now!”
Hurley cast them a cool nce and said evenly, “You can go back once you’ve finished your work. I’m leaving first.”
With that, he rose and walked out, his swollen eyes still wet but his lips curved in a trembling smile. Soon, he would finally see his precious daughter again.
“Dad! I don’t need to finish filming—I’ll just tell the screenwriter to kill off my character!” Gerry blurted, lunging forward, but his brothers grabbed him before he could run.

“Let me go! If you hold me back, I’ll lose sight of Dad!”
He fought against them furiously, yet Bain and Jordy only tightened their grip.
As Gerry squirmed, the two exchanged a knowing look, identical smirks ying on their faces.
“Nice try, Gerry. But if we’re staying, so are you.”
“Be good, finish your scenes, and when we’re done, we’ll all go back together.”
Gerry dreamed of getting back first to win Christina’s attention—a hopeful, ridiculous daydream. All three would go back together, show up before Christina at the same time, each trying to woo her in his own way.
No one was getting an early shot at charming her.
