Chapter 1307

    ?Chapter 1307:

“Yes, sir,” came the firm voice on the other end.

Terrence ended the call, and a cruel, satisfied smile curved at the corner of his lips. His sharp eyes gleamed with a dangerous edge, carrying a quiet, lethal promise.

He let out a low, chillingugh that somehow still held a strange charm. Leaning back in his chair, he picked up his ss of red wine and took a slow sip, savoring the taste as if he already had victory in his hands.

Dn might’ve gotten lucky once or twice, but Terrence knew that kind of luck neversted forever.

“Dn,” Terrence muttered with a cold chuckle, his eyes glinting like ice. “Let’s see how long your luck keeps saving your ass.”

His charming smile masked something ruthless.

Halfway down the road, Edwin kept checking the rearview mirror. When he was finally sure that the ck SUV behind them was following, his face grew tense and serious.

He nced at the mirror inside the car and saw Dn sitting quietly with his eyes closed, looking calm and unaware.

“Mr. Scott,” Edwin said in a low, serious voice. “We’ve got a tail.”

Dn’s eyes opened instantly, sharp and cold, slicing through the dim light inside the car.

His expression turned stone-cold as he spoke, his tone t and firm. “Lose them.”

“Yes, Mr. Scott,” Edwin replied quickly and stepped on the elerator, trying to leave the SUV behind.

But the SUV caught on fast and sped up again, staying right on their tail.

“Damn it!” Edwin shouted, his face tightening in rm. “They’ve got guns! Our car can handle some fire, but if they go for the tires, we’re in trouble!”

Their tires were high-quality and durable, but not strong enough to survive a direct hit.

Right after Edwin said that, someone in the SUV leaned out of the window, raised a gun, and started shooting wildly at their tires.

“Keep your eyes on the road. I’ll handle the rest,” Dn said calmly, his voice steady and cold.

“Got it!” Edwin replied with firm resolve, gripping the wheel tightly and focusing on the road ahead.

Hearing Dn’s calm voice made Edwin’s nerves settle a little. Dn’s expression didn’t change at all. He sat still in the back seat, perfectlyposed. He looked so calm it was as if even the end of the world wouldn’t make him flinch.

Dn quietly pulled out a silenced gun and casually wiped it clean, his movements smooth and unhurried.

He lifted the gun slightly, the faintest trace of a smile curving on his lips.

His eyes narrowed, gleaming with danger. That calm, deadly kind of look that sent chills down the spine.

As the ck SUV kept chasing them, Dn’s smile deepened, turning darker and more confident.

He rolled down the window smoothly and, without hesitation, fired a single precise shot behind them.

The bullet struck the SUV’s front left tire dead-on.

The tire burst instantly, making the SUV swerve violently from side to side before spinning off the road.

Without even ncing back, Dn rolled the window up and calmly put the silenced gun away.

Then, as if the chaos never urred, he closed his eyes and leaned back once more.

Just like that, the danger was over, handled with effortless precision.

Edwin finally rxed, the tension in him fading awaypletely.

He knew that as long as Dn was around, things never really got out of hand.

Still, the people behind the assassination attempts on Dn were aplete mystery.
