?Chapter 1306:
If he told anyone at work, nobody would believe him anyway. To his colleagues, Dn acting cute was nothing short of a fantasy. Unable to help himself, Edwin kept stealing nces at the sweet pair, his lips twitching with amusement.
Watching them together, he couldn’t deny there was something heartwarming about seeing people in love.
After a moment, their hug ended. Christina smiled softly and ran her fingers through Dn’s hair, her eyes full of tenderness. Dn’s face was something she never got tired of looking at. Each time, he seemed even more attractive, pulling her in without her realizing it.
Christina held his face in her hands and kissed him gently on the lips.
Even though the kiss was brief, it made her heart flutter and filled her with happiness.
“Be good, and focus on work, okay?” Christina said softly.
“Okay,” Dn replied with a quietugh, his face glowing with joy.
He pressed his lips together, still feeling the warmth of her kiss and the faint scent she left behind.
Christina walked him to the car, waving goodbye with a reluctant smile.
She stood there watching until his car vanished down the road, then finally turned to go back inside.
Meanwhile, Terrence stood on his vi’s rooftop terrace, watching through a pair of binocrs.
His face was expressionless, his eyes cold, and his fists clenched tightly.
The way Christina acted with Dn waspletely different. They looked every bit like a loving couple.
Their disy of affection hit Terrence hard, stirring something dark and unpleasant within him.
Christina had never smiled at Terrence with that kind of warmth, never brushed her fingers through his hair, never held his face like he was something fragile.
Yet, when it came to Dn, that affection flowed from her effortlessly, like it was meant for him all along.
. brings magic to life
Why the hell did Dn get to have what was supposed to be his? Everything, every smile, every bit of love, had been ripped away from him and handed to Dn instead.
Terrence knew that as long as Dn was alive, Christina would never even nce his way again.
So, he didn’t just want Dn dead. He wanted him gonepletely, erased from existence, like he’d never even been born.
Terrence lowered the binocrs with deliberate calm, his face hardening as he reached for his phone.
His voice was t and cold when he spoke into the phone. “Keep an eye on the target. I don’t want any loose ends, got it?”
