Chapter 1201

    ?Chapter 1201:

“Oh yeah, something happened alright! The entire inte is going crazy saying you’re responsible for Ynda losing her baby,” Davina said with an eye roll.

This was obviously a calcted smear campaign. Everyone who knew Christina understood that if she’d actually wanted to hurt Ynda, Ynda would be six feet under, not the unborn child.

Christina would never stoop to hurting a defenseless baby. Only someone truly sick and demented would use such a disgusting strategy.

“Wait, Ynda was actually pregnant?” Christina’s eyebrows drew together in genuine surprise.

“Apparently so. I didn’t even know until people started posting about it. Trying to me you for this ispletely insane,” Davina said, her voice sharp with indignation.

“Let me see your phone for a minute,” Christina said, extending her hand toward Davina.

Davina quickly unlocked the device and ced it in Christina’s palm. “What’s your n here?”

“Dig into this mess and clear my name. There’s no way I’m letting people believe this garbage,” Christina replied firmly.

Christina’s thumb moved rapidly across the screen as she read through the various posts andments. Her brow furrowed with concentration for a moment before smoothing out again.

“Since you’re already here, let’s grab dinner at Morfort Restaurantter,” Christina suggested as she handed the phone back to Davina.

“How can you even think about dinner with all this stuff going on?” Davinaughed.

“Well, I can’t just starve myself, can I? My healthes first. Everything else takes a backseat,” Christina said.

    ???????????? ???????????? ???? ??????????????????.??????

“That’s true,” Davina said, nodding in agreement. “Are you gonna invite Allison too?”

“Yeah. She’s swamped with work and has to fly back tomorrow,” Christina replied gently.

“You keep your apprentices totally in the dark about who you really are. If you don’t show them what you’re actually capable of or give them some kind of proof, they’ll probably think you’re just a fake, even if you tell them the truth face-to-face. I mean, who would believe that someone as young as you could be mentoring a designer the whole world thinks is a genius?” Davina said, her voice buzzing with excitement.

She knew many of Christina’s secrets that others didn’t.

Knowing that her best friend was admired and looked up to by the world’s most powerful and influential people filled her with a deep sense of pride and satisfaction.

Her best friend was genuinely at the very top of different fields, a true expert among experts.
