?Chapter 1202:
“I just have a little more natural talent than they do, that’s all,” Christina said humbly.
“That ‘little more’ is what makes you someone most people spend their whole lives wishing they could be. As far as I’m concerned, you’re the absolute best in the world,” Davina said, her eyes practically glowing with admiration.
“Alright, I’m gonna jump in the shower real quick. After that, we’ll head over to Morfort Restaurant,” Christina said.
“I’ll wait for you,” Davina replied.
At Scott Group headquarters.
“I want this matter investigated thoroughly andpletely,” Dn ordered, his brow furrowing as he set his phone down on the desk.
“Yes, sir,” Edwin answered, keeping his tone polite and formal.
Dn’s face darkened as he grabbed his phone and started reading through the hateful lies people were posting online. His frown deepened with every word he read.
“Track down whoever started spreading these rumors. I want all of them punished.”
Dn’s stare was ice-cold and threatening, sending an ufortable shiver down the spine of anyone who witnessed it.
“Got it!” Edwin responded, his voice both respectful and dead serious. “Is there anything else you want me to take care of?”
Edwin couldn’t believe how stupid these people were, spreading such horrible lies about Christina. Did they have any idea who they were messing with?
Edwin made a quiet promise to himself that he would find the people behind these rumors and make absolutely certain they regretted it.
???????????????????? ???? ?????????ν??????[?]??????
These idiots needed to learn an important lesson. Spreading rumors had serious consequences, especially rumors about someone powerful.
“That’s everything for now. You can leave,” Dn said, dismissing Edwin with a wave of his hand. “Figure out who’s behind this as quickly as possible.”
“Don’t worry about a thing, Mr. Scott. I’ll handle everything,” Edwin promised with absolute confidence.
Edwin wasn’t just obeying his boss’s instructions; he genuinely wanted to do this himself.
Christina had always supported and protected him, so anyone who tried to harm her would have to deal with him first.
Once Edwin walked out and closed the door behind him, Dn pulled up his messaging app and opened his conversation with Christina.
“Chrissie, what are you doing right now? I miss you.”
Dn hit send and waited, but several minutes passed without any response from her.
Right at that moment, Christina was in the bathroom taking a shower, and she’d left her phone with Davina.
