Wanda screamed like a madwoman, “How dare you hit me? How could you! You useless piece of trash!”

Winslow was so angry his eyes seemed about to pop out.

This was the first time he had ever spoken to her in such a stern tone, “Not only will I hit you, but I will also dissolve our mating.”

    “Dissolve our mating?”

Wanda froze for a moment, her face turning terrifyingly dark, “Say that again!”

“A heartless woman like you, if I don’t dissolve our bond, are you going to stay and harm the members of our pack?” <fn57d7> Updates are released by Find★Novel</fn57d7>

As soon as he finished speaking, a ceramic coffee pot was smashed onto Winslow’s head by Wanda with a loud crash.

There was a dull thud, followed by the crisp sound of ceramic shards scattering across the floor.

Winslow staggered back two steps, staring in disbelief at the frenzied Wanda.

He felt the world spinning before his eyes, his body went limp, and he copsed heavily to the ground, blood gushing from his forehead.

    “Alpha Winslow!”

An omega rushed into the room, supporting Winslow while shouting loudly, “Help! Call the pack doctor over!”

“Dissolve our mating bond? Then I’ll never let you go alive!” Wanda red coldly at the fallen Winslow, her face devoid of any concern.

Adide had just reached the boundary of the Glenveil Pack when she heard the intense screams and roarsing from inside.

She sent Ellen to check the situation, while she took the testimonies back to organize.

Chaos erupted within the Glenveil Pack.

Fortunately, due to Rowena’s poor health, the pack had a skilled doctor who was able to provide timely medical care to Winslow.

Although he was not in immediate danger, his injuries were quite severe.

After checking the situation, Ellen immediately rushed back to the Ministry of Justice to report to Adide.

Adide asked, “Is his injury serious?”

Ellen, still shaken by the gruesome wound on Winslow’s head, replied, “The doctor said that because he was treated in time, there should be no danger to his life. However, whether there will be any otherplications will only be known after he wakes up. He hadn’t regained consciousness when I left.”

“Quite ruthless,” Dennis remarked, shaking his head after listening.

He had just finished interrogating Madison and said with a wry smile, “Wanda and her mother are really alike. When I was interrogating Madison just now, she initially said nothing, then started cursing and ranting non–stop until she was hoarse and out of energy. Now Ron has gone in to interrogate her.”

Lance said with a smile, “Thanks,” and then continued, “Organize all the testimonies. I need to go to the pce to report the initial findings to Lycan Erasmus.”

“But should we report her nonsensical ramblings as well?” Dennis asked hesitantly.

“Of course, everything she says must be reported urately,” Lance said firmly.

Seeing Dennis’s troubled expression, Adide asked, “What did she say?”

Dennis handed her Madison’s testimony and said, “Take a look.”

Adide took it, sat down, and quickly scanned through it.

After reading, she had an expression of disbelief on her face.

She looked at Lance and asked, “Are we really going to present this directly to Lycan Erasmus?”

    Lance replied crisply, “Yes.”

Adide wasn’t worried that Lycan Erasmus would believe Madison’s words.

Anyone with a grain of sense wouldn’t.

After all, the treason case was uncovered by the ckthorn Pack.

If ckthorn were the masterminds, wouldn’t that mean they were exposing themselves?

    It just didn’t make sense.

But she was concerned that presenting such an unreasonable testimony to Lycan Erasmus might make him think ckthorn was making a clumsy attempt at self–justification.

Lance understood Adide’s concern and exined, “It’s fine. Since she said it, we have no reason not to present it. Lycan Erasmus is eager to see her initial testimony, hoping to find some clues to confirm his suspicions.”

Adide thought to herself, “With such a wed testimony, it would probably be impossible to prove anything.”

    “I’ll go

with you to see Lycan Erasmus. Wanda’s case also needs his decision,” Adide said.

The two of them took a carriage to the royal pce.

Since the treason case broke out, they had been working non–stop. Every time they returned home, they were so exhausted that they fell asleep after exchanging just a few words.

In the carriage, Lance held Adide and said, “There’s something I need to tell you upfront so you won’t be disappointedter.”

“I know what you’re going to say–Lycan Erasmus won’t execute Madison, right?” Adide leaned against Lance’s broad chest, her eyelids already growing heavy.

She wasn’t tired from the fighting, but from the constant running around, taking testimonies, and listening to a lot of sarcastic remarks.

Dealing with a few self–important, arrogant people was both physically and mentally exhausting.

Lance analyzed, “I mentioned Alpha Germain to Lycan Erasmus before, but he didn’t ask you to investigate him. Given his suspicious nature, how could he not investigate Alpha Germain? I suspect he’s already sent others to look into it, and these people are likely the Lycan King’s personal guards and secret police.”
