Third Person’s POV

“Technically, these people aren’t under your control. Even if they’re nominally under your jurisdiction, it’s just a facade. He won’t execute Madison until the investigation is concluded.”
“With Madison alive, Germain will be constantly on edge, too afraid to make any rash moves.”
Adide nodded with her eyes closed, “Your analysis makes sense. But now Madison’s manor is implicated in two major cases–one is treason, and the other is the murder and imprisonment of breeders, not to mention the tragic deaths of so many infants. If Madison isn’t executed, it will be hard to quell the public’s outrage.”
“She’ll definitely have to give the public an exnation.”
A flicker of coldness crossed Lance’s eyes, “But if the truth of the treason case needs to be temporarily suppressed, then the me for these deaths will have to be shouldered by one person.”
Adide’s eyes snapped open, “Hunt!”
Lance nodded, his tone icy, “That’s right. But he’s not innocent. He was Madison’s biggest aplice. No matter how he tries to justify himself by saying he had no choice and couldn’t defy Madison’s orders, it won’t help.”
“He’s from the Spectrehowl Pack, yet he chose to submit. It wasn’t genuine fear of Madison; it was the declining Spectrehowl Pack’s need for Madison’s support that forced him topromise.”
Adide was also aware that Hunt was far from innocent.
The murdered women were his breeders, with whom he had intimate rtionships, and their children were all his offspring.
Yet he stood by and watched as his sons were killed and his daughters used as pawns, without any intervention.
Was he truly helpless?
Perhaps at first, but notter.
His attitude toward Aireanna and her daughters was telling. If he truly cared about them, he wouldn’t have betrayed Ramona or ignored Aireanna’s fate.

In fact, had he pleaded with Madison, there was a good chance Aireanna could have been spared the dungeon.
After all, at that time, Wilorina had alreadypleted her mission, and Ramona had sessfully infiltrated the ckthorn Pack.
Adide spected that Hunt likely used these as bargaining chips to gain actual benefits for the Spectrehowl Pack.
After a moment of contemtion, Lance said thoughtfully, “It’s not out of the question that Lycan Erasmus might offer ‘leniency‘ in exchange for Hunt’s confession about the mastermind behind the treason case. At least he’ll use this as a lure. But once Hunt confesses, he’ll still be executed to appease the public’s anger.” <fn0eaf> Get full chapters from find?novel</fn0eaf>
In the study, after reviewing Madison’s initial testimony, Lycan Erasmus’s face was etched with fury, yet he let out a coldugh.
“On the brink of death and still trying to drag others down? Truly unrepentant! Continue the interrogation, without pause.”
He tossed the file on the table and picked up Wanda’s testimony.
After reading it, he exhaled deeply, his expression calming somewhat. “Such a vicious heart, truly unheard of. How could such a ruthless person be a member of our royal family? Revoke Wanda’s title, seize her royal stipend, and demote her to amoner. If it’s proven shemitted murder with her own hands, deal with her ording to thew.”
Subsequently<i>, </i>Lycan Erasmus turned to Lance, “It seems Madison won’t confess easily. Subject her to torture once. If she still refuses, imprison her in the royal dungeon. The case file must not be sealed; the investigation will continue. When torturing her, be careful not to kill her.”
The case file not being sealed meant the treason case was not yet officially concluded.
Those implicated in the case dared not even hope for a reprieve.
This was exactly as Lance had anticipated.
Lycan Erasmus continued, “All those implicated in the treason case, once their identities are verified, will be detained. As for the breeder murder case, the scope is too wide and has already caused extremely adverse social impact. The Spectrehowl Pack will be responsible forpensating them and their families. Hunt, ording to thew, should be sentenced to death. Tell him, if he can reveal the mastermind behind the treason case, I will spare his life.”
Adide lowered her head, subtly raising her eyebrows.

This point had also been predicted by Lance, showing he truly understood Lycan Erasmus’s mind.
Lycan Erasmus then asked Adide, “What clues have you found regarding the wolf packs and nobles who had close dealings with Madison’s manor?”
Adide replied truthfully, “The interrogation process is not yetplete. So far, we’ve only rified the situation with the Illusory Moon Pack–Hunt has a daughter there. After we questioned her, we found she hadn’t carried out any tasks assigned by Madison.”
“Because the day after she joined Illusory Moon, her birth mother passed away, and Madison lost leverage over her, Plus, she was deeply favored by Alpha Felix’s son, <i>so </i>she eventually broke free from Madison’s control.”
A sharp gleam shed in Lycan Erasmus’s eyes, “Does anyone in Illusory Moon know her true identity?”
“All members of that pack im ignorance. We also questioned their omegas, and they said this breeder, Tertia, hardly ever left the pack’s boundaries after she married in.”
Lycan Erasmus continued, “Is Tertia still in Illusory Moon?”
“She gave birth to <i>a </i>son and a daughter, but she was sent to a private care facility and is under special supervision.”
