The blood stirred something within Scott. He knew if he didn''t take the Purification Potion now, he''dpletely lose control and go berserk.
Almost immediately, he shifted into his therian form and pulled the potion from his pocket, downing it in one go.
But just as he swallowed it, he was struck with a powerful blow that sent him flying behind a starship parked in a corner of the starship station. It was Sean, who had somehow gotten back up and attacked him.
Scott happened tond in a blind spot, where his body was perfectly concealed.
Realizing that the therian he attacked had vanished into thin air, Sean tilted his head slightly. The bloodlust soon took over him again, and he charged back into the fray of battling therians.
"Ugh..." Scotty on the ground, struggling to breathe. He was suffocating, his throat burning as if he were drowning in fire.
Water and fire—two forces that naturally shed-waged war inside him.
The conflicting sensations left him dazed. All he could do was lie on his back, enduring the pain while trying to focus on the two conflicting flows of energy inside him.
Scott couldn''t exin what it was.
As he tried to control the suffocation and burning sensation like he did with his mental essence, his eyes slowly came into focus. To his shock, he realized he was controlling the moisture in the air with his mind.
"Water..." he croaked.
Realizing this, he struggled to sit up and concentrated on the surrounding water particles. He gathered them together with his consciousness, and soon enough, a water orb the size of a disc floated before him.
"It really is water! What on earth is going on?" he eximed, reaching out to poke the orb.
As if surrendering to his will, the orb glided along with the movements of his fingers.
Scott suddenly remembered the burning sensation. Stretching out his hand, he tried to control it the same way he had with the water.
The moment mes burst from his palm, his eyes widened in disbelief.
"Ana..."
He didn''t realize it was the fusion of beastial DNA and the elemental
power of
f Ster Amber that gave him this extraordinary gift. He had assumed that it was Analise''s Purification Potion that granted him this ability.
He focused on his sensations more carefully, experimenting with his control over the water and fire elements. Once he was confident he had a grasp on them, he stepped out from behind the starship.
Kone
The infected were no longer being suppressed by the mind essence-or at least, not right now. Scott wanted to see whether it was possible to use his mental essence to suppress the beasts with his new elemental powers.
...
Out in deep space, Fiy was rushing back in a starship at top speed.
Onboard were the first batch of reagents, products of tireless work by him, Analise, and Gideon. They had managed to produce 3,000
I.ne
doses in total. While he brought 500 of them back to Stormw Alliance, the remaining 2,500 were distributed by Gideon''s men to other alliances.
Of course those weren''t free. But Stormw Alliance got them for free thanks to Analise. As for the other alliances, Gideon had made it very clear that each vial would cost 20,000 Cosmocoins.
Of course, none of themanders or lords daredin. Even if they wanted to, now wasn''t the time.
"Fiy, do you want ExoAbilities?"
Analise had asked him this question after Gideon''s sessful trial, and naturally, he said yes.
Fiy needed to grow stronger to protect Analise. Besides, he trusted her.
So, he''d deliberately let an infected victim hurt him, then waited until he was on the verge of losing his consciousness before drinking the reagent.
Perhaps because his mental essence wasn''t as developed as Gideon''s, his will wasn''t as strong. He had to stay in an istion chamber for half a day before regaining consciousness.
But he turned out luckier than Gideon, having gained Twin ExoAbilities- Tideweaving ability and Earthbind ability.
This time, Fiy returned alone with the reagents.
