Chapter 3131

    ?Chapter 3131:

Anyone could tell right away—the Flynn family’s sincerity was unmistakable.

N took a sip of her coffee, catching Ernest’s eye and giving him a gentle smile.

“Would it be possible for us to meet with Elissa and Ethan?” N asked.

Given how far she hade, her request was perfectly understandable.

But Savannah’s brows drew together as she responded, “I’m sorry, N. Elissa and Ethan aren’t here right now. They’re at Domaine.”

The truth was, Savannah hadn’t said a word about N’s visit to Elissa today. Naturally, that meant she hadn’t brought them over, either.

    ??e???? ????o?? у?????? ????????e ??? g??ln??????????.с????

    “I understand…”

N offered a smile, but a hint of disappointment flickered in her eyes.

    “That’s a shame.”

Savannah originally didn’t know what to expect from today’s meeting, but now she couldn’t help feeling a bit guilty. She exined, “Ethan’s not feeling well, so he and Elissa stayed at Domaine where the care is better.”

“Yes, that makes sense.” N nodded, signaling her understanding. “Our first concern is making sure Ethan is healthy.”

She set her cup down and reached over to Ernest as she spoke.

Ernest quickly assisted his grandmother in standing up.

    “Mr. Brown, Mrs. Brown…”

With Ernest’s support, N found her bnce and smiled. “We won’t trouble you any longer. It’s time for us to go.”

    “Alright then.”

Savannah smiled as she stood and, with Neville, walked with them to the door.

“Be careful on your way, N. Please take your time and look after yourself.”

    “Alright, I will.”

Ernest offered his arm to N and stayed close as they made their way to the entry, pausing every few steps. He watched Savannah, wanting to say something but holding back. He almost asked when he would be allowed to visit Elissa again.

“Let’s head out.” N frowned at Ernest and pushed him to move. “I’m tired.”

    “Oh, sure!”

Ernest heard her words and didn’t dare wait any longer. He supported his grandmother as they left together.

    “Please be careful.”

It pained him to hear his grandmother say she was tired, knowing it was his fault.

“You…” N gave a gentle, resignedugh. “No need to hurry. This is only our first timeing over. We should allow them time to think it over.”

“Grandma,” Ernest replied. “I’m not in a hurry. I just haven’t seen Elissa for days, and I can’t help worrying that she’s anxious.”

N didn’t know how to respond.

She turned and looked at Ernest, at a loss for words.

    “You really…”

Ernest was at a loss. “Did I say something wrong?”

“You’re starting to act like Eric,” N said and couldn’t hold back a softugh.

    Really?

Ernest looked puzzled and asked, “In what way?”

“For being cheeky.” N gave him a t look and added, “Hurry up! Don’t just stand there. That’s rude.”

Ernest stood there, unable to find any words.

He nodded and quietly followed N’s instructions. Cheeky? What made his grandmother say that?

Inside, Savannah nced at the stack of documents on the coffee table, then at Neville, a small smile ying on her lips. “N is truly someone to be reckoned with.” Their sincerity was hard to ignore.

“Yes,” Neville replied. “Still, there’s no doubt their sincerity is real.”

If Savannah epted the gifts without consenting to the wedding, it would mean N was making a major sacrifice with no promise of anything in return.

For the next two days, Ernest remained with N at the vi, waiting to hear any news.

The chef arrived early in the morning to prepare their breakfast. While Ernest was eating with his grandmother, a call came in from Savannah.

    “Hello?”

Ernest unlocked his phone and sat up straight.

    “Good morning, Mrs. Brown.”

    “Good morning.”
