Chapter 3132

    ?Chapter 3132:

Savannah wasted no time, saying, “We’ll be taking Elissa to the hospital for her checkup soon. Can youe with us?”

Ernest sprang to his feet and blurted out, “Sure! I can go with you!”

He had gone days without seeing Elissa, and the worry had nearly driven him crazy.

    “I’ll head over right now.”

Once the call ended, Ernest turned to his grandmother, his face lighting up with excitement. “Grandma.”

“I understand,” N said and smiled gently. “Go ahead.”

    “Okay.”

Phone in his pocket, Ernest scooped up his car keys, quickly gave instructions to the nurse to watch over his grandmother, and rushed out toward Domaine.

When he arrived, Savannah was nowhere in sight. Instead, he spotted Elissa sitting in the dining room.

    “Elissa!”

    ??????’?? ??i???? ?????? ??elеas??s о?? ??????nove??s.c????

Unable to hold back his happiness, Ernest hurried over, pulled out a chair beside her, and sat down.

    “Ernest.”

It had only been a few days apart, yet Elissa looked at him with mixed excitement and a hint ofint. “What took you so long to visit me?”

    “I’m sorry.”

Ernest settled in, casually looping his arm over the back of her chair as if to wrap her up in a gentle embrace.

“Your mom told us to wait until things calmed down, but as soon as she called, I rushed over.”

He cleared his throat, searching for what to say next.

Savannah entered the dining room, her presence announced by a soft cough at the doorway.

“Mrs. Brown.” Ernest sprang to his feet, lowered his head in respect, and offered a polite, “Good morning.”

    “Take a seat.”

Breakfast was brought out as soon as everyone returned to their chairs.

    “Huh?”

Staring into her bowl, Elissa frowned in confusion. “What exactly is this?”

She realized she had never tried this before.

“It’s good for your health,” the servant exined.

    “Okay.”

Savannah gave a small, approving nod.

Elissa nced at what Ernest was having. He’d already finished his meal and nursed a cup of coffee. Then she looked over at her mother’s te, which didn’t match hers either. “So this is just for me?”

    “That’s right.”

Savannah nced at Ernest, then said to her gently, “N went to a lot of trouble to make sure you had this today.”

This was no ordinary breakfast. The ingredients were rare, expensive, and specially chosen for Elissa’s well-being. With gratitude, Savannah epted the thoughtful gesture.

    N?

Elissa turned to Ernest with a puzzled look.

“She’s my grandmother,” Ernest whispered in her ear. “She’s worried about you.”

    “Oh.”

A blush colored Elissa’s cheeks as she nced down and murmured, “Please thank her for me.”

A littleugh slipped from Ernest, warmed by Elissa’s heartfelt gratitude.

Once breakfast was over, all three of them set out together for the hospital.

Elissa followed the schedule, pleting a round of medical tests.

She was still changing out of her gown when the nurse brought the results over to the consultation room.

With the test report in hand, Savannah barely reacted—she simply sat beside Ernest and waited for the doctor to exin things.

The doctor skimmed through the report.

“Nothing much has changed with the results…”

Savannah had already heard this verdict before; this visit was really just for Ernest to hear the news for himself.

Once they left the consultation room, Savannah and Ernest fell into step, making their way together to meet up with Elissa.

“Mr. Flynn.” Savannah paused, looking Ernest’s way, knowing there were things they needed to talk through.

“Did you catch everything the doctor said?”

    “Yeah, I did.”

“Then what’s your take on it?”

Savannah reminded him, “The doctor made things in—Elissa’s chances of a full recovery are almost nonexistent. There’s a good chance she’ll always stay this way.”

“That’s right.” Ernest gave a steady nod. “I understand what he meant.”

    That was it?

Watching him closely, Savannah tried to read his expression, searching for any sign of what he was really thinking.
