?Chapter 3130:
“To me, my grandchildren’s happiness is worth more than any fortune.”
That was how she truly felt. Even if she didn’t take care of it now, all of this would still go to Ernest in the end.
“And there’s something else.” N nced at Ernest again.
“Yes, Grandma.” Ernest then handed her the second folder he had brought along.
He knew exactly what he’d ced inside.
????????????а?? ???????? ???????? o? ???????o????????.??o??
This was also something he had coordinated through his grandmother after she’d agreed to help.
This was his own second wedding gift prepared just for Elissa. Ernest felt genuine gratitude toward his grandmother for giving her approval.
N took the folder, opened it, and ced it in front of Savannah.
“This agreement already bears Ernest’s signature. I know how parents worry for their daughters. The thought of a girl suffering after marriage is something no mother can bear—believe me, I understand those fears all too well,” N exined with a smile. “It’s all written inly in this contract. If Ernest ever fails Elissa, he will walk away with nothing. If Elissa recovers in time, then everything in the Flynn family will be passed to her. And if not, it will go on to her children.”
Savannah flipped through the papers, confirming that everything was exactly as N had said—every use spelled out clearly.
In the end, Ernest’s signature was there as well.
“We already know…” N let out a soft sigh. “Money isn’t everything, but it does give a sense of security, doesn’t it?” Her tone never lost its gentle courtesy.
“With my age and the rush of preparations, I worry that I might have missed something important. Please, if you see any gaps or issues, I’d value your advice.”
Savannah paused, uncertain.
Really, what else could she possibly say?
Holding those papers, she felt just how heavy they truly were.
Noticing her uncertainty, N made no move to pressure her.
“There’s no rush. Take your time, and don’t make a decision until you’re sure,” N added gently. “Ernest made serious mistakes and Elissa suffered because of him. Those choices left scars not just on her, but also on Locke and Ethan. By now, no words could truly make up for what happened. This marriage—regardless of your answer—all of Ernest’s and my assets are now hers.”
If Elissa’s parents approved the marriage, those items would serve as wedding gifts. If they did not, she intended them to act as her sincere apology for Ernest’s past mistakes.
