?Chapter 3060:
“He’s waiting outside,” Savannah continued. “He came to pick you up. Would you like to meet him?”
Recalling thest encounter between the two, she hesitated, concern flickering in her voice. “If you’d rather not see him, I can tell him to go.”
“Mom…” Elissa’s teeth pressed against her lower lip as she shook her head. “That won’t be necessary.”
Not necessary?
The response caught Savannah off guard.
Even so, Robin was the only piece of Elissa’s past that remained clear to her.
Given that, Savannah decided it was something she couldn’t take lightly.
“Alright.” Savannah gave a slow nod. “Then we’ll meet himter.”
Once breakfast ended, everyone began preparing to leave. As Ernest and Emma rose from their seats, they caught sight of Savannah, Elissa, and Neville across the room.
Ernest’s attention immediately shifted to Elissa’s ankle, still weighing heavily on his mind.

A flowing skirt hid most of her legs, yet when she moved, he caught a glimpse of the medicated patch peeking from beneath the fabric.
The sight made Ernest uneasy again. Surely, the patch should’ve been reced by now. The doctor had said it needed changing every eight hours.
Momentster, the driver pulled up with another car trailing behind.
When the door swung open, Robin stepped out and strode briskly toward the family of three.
“Mr. Brown, Mrs. Brown…”
At the sight of him, Elissa edged closer to Savannah, her movements small and uncertain.
“Elissa.” Robin’s smile softened as he spoke her name in a gentle tone.
Avoiding his gaze, Elissa gave a slight nod. “Hello.”
“Hey there.” Robin beamed, clearly far more pleased than he had been during their previous encounter.
Savannah gently rested her hand on Elissa’s arm. “Come on. We should get to the car—it’s time to head home.”
She paused, considering something, then turned to Robin. “Since you arrived quite early, did you get a chance to eat? Would you like a meal before we leave?”
“That won’t be necessary!”
Eager to help, Robin dashed ahead and pulled the car door open for them.
“This way, Mr. Brown, Mrs. Brown… and Elissa. Please get in.”
“Okay.”
They entered the car one after another, and the convoy began moving toward the estate gates.
Meanwhile, Ernest waited at the restaurant entrance, his expression stormy and unapproachable, every line of his face sharpened by irritation.
That infuriating Robin was bing unbearable.
Couldn’t he just go back to work? Was he really nning to linger around Ontmond forever?
“Mr. Flynn…” Emma lifted her gaze, intending to speak.
“My apologies.” Ernest dipped his head politely, his voice steady. “I need to step away for a moment.”
Without waiting for a reply, he turned and left.
As he moved, he pulled out his phone and dialed a familiar number.
“Yeah? Ernest?” Eric picked up immediately, his tone alert. “What’s going on?”
“I need a favor.” Ernest pressed one hand to his temple while holding the phone close with the other.
“Alright, tell me.”
“That guy Robin showed up in Ontmond again, sticking close to Elissa. I want him gone—figure something out.”
“Robin? As in Elissa’s ex-husband? What’s he doing over there?”
For a moment, Ernest had no words. Then his irritation spiked. “What do you think he’s doing here? Just tell me if you’re going to step in or not.”
“Of course!” Catching the rising fury in Ernest’s tone, Eric instantly surrendered. “Rx, Ernest. I’ll shut this down today. Consider it handled.”
Driving Robin out of Ontmond wasn’tplicated for Eric. He only needed to create a little friction for the Torres family business, and Robin would have no choice but to run back home.
“Move fast.”
Once the call ended, Ernest exhaled slowly, though the weight sitting in his chest refused to ease.
Speed mattered more than ever, and he needed Eric to act immediately.
Between Robin and Elissa, their history stretched farther than his own connection with her.
That fact forced Ernest to tread carefully.
If Robin kept lingering in Ontmond, every passing second chipped away at Ernest’s chances of winning Elissa over again.
