Chapter 3061

    ?Chapter 3061:

Leaving Mledo marked Ernest’s quiet departure.

Back in the city, a bodyguard stood waiting for Ernest.

“Mr. Flynn, everything has been prepared,” the guard said. “Would you prefer going back to the hotel first, or shall we head straight to the house?”

“We’ll go straight there,” Ernest replied without hesitation.

“Very well. I’ll have your belongings in the hotel packed and delivered.”

“Alright.” Ernest gave a brief nod.

He left nothing important at the hotel anyway, so returning there to pack himself served no purpose.

    B?? ??a???? ???? оu?? с????????n????? o?? ?????????????????.??????

The bodyguard walked ahead while Ernest followed right behind him. Their trip took a while, but eventually both vehicles rolled into a neighborhood filled with carefully maintained greenery.

Soon, the car came to a stop in front of a modest house. Ernest’s men had secured this ce several days earlier.

With the situation turning moreplicated, he realized he would be staying in Ontmond much longer than expected, and relying on a hotel would only cause unnecessary inconvenience—especially since it kept him too far from Elissa.

Even though the house wasn’trge, it provided more than enough space for him to livefortably on his own. Before moving in, he arranged for renovations, as the building’s age was evident in several areas.

Another reason he picked this property was its closeness to Neville’s estate; he could walk there in roughly ten minutes or reach it by car in just a few.

The bodyguard briefed him, saying, “We’ve already hired a part-time housekeeper. She’lle every day to handle the cleaning and cooking.”

“That works,” Ernest replied, pleased. “What about the surveince system?”

“All set,” the bodyguard said. “Every corner is covered, so whenever Miss Hond passes through the area, you’ll be able to see it.”

    “Excellent.”

“Also, the surveince app has been forwarded to your phone, Mr. Flynn.”

“Got it.” Ernest pulled out his phone, opened the message, and downloaded the program through the link.

    After that, he headed upstairs.

Sleep had barely touched him the night before, and his body finally demanded rest.

Hours slipped by, and he didn’t wake until the afternoon sun was already high.

By the time he came downstairs, both the housekeeper and other bodyguards had already arrived.

Near the staircase sat several neatly arranged suitcases, and from the dining area drifted the warm, forting scent of freshly prepared food.

Without pausing, Ernest walked toward the dining room.

The housekeeper had thoughtfully prepared dishes from his hometown, familiar vors meant to ease the exhaustion of travel and stress.

After warming the food, he settled at the table. While eating, his phone vibrated with a notification from the surveince app.

Ernest instantlyid his fork down and unlocked the screen. A live feed revealed a Rolls-Royce cruising past, unmistakably the one Savannah and Elissa frequently used.

Not wasting a second, Ernest seized his car keys and headed for the door.

His vehicle waited in the driveway, and he climbed in before rolling through the gate.

With speed and precision, he tailed the Rolls-Royce while keeping enough distance to remain unnoticed.

Before long, the route triggered a sense of recognition.

Wasn’t this the direction leading to that private hospital?

Just as he expected, he tailed the Rolls-Royce right up until it disappeared past the private hospital gates.

Unfortunately, that was the point Ernest had to stop. Strict security measures meant he couldn’t enter without an appointment.

Trying to apply now would only waste precious time. Even if approval came through, Savannah and Elissa would already be long gone inside.

Left alone in his car, Ernest rested his hands on the steering wheel and fell into heavy thought.

Elissa had gone back to the hospital again? Why did she need to visit so often?

Every few days, she came here, and on some weeks, even more often.

No routine check-up demanded visits that close together. If her condition required constant monitoring, why wasn’t she admitted for convenience?
