Chapter 493 A Familys Sincere Apology

"I want to properly apologize to Natalie. For years, I held resentment, believing Natalie had stolen Selena''s privileged life. I didn''t know where my real daughter was or what kind of suffering she endured. I was wrong." Diana''s eyes reddened.

For Diana, ing here to apologize to Natalie hadn''t been an easy decision. It had taken her a long time to prepare herself mentally. But once she finally took this step, she realized it wasn''t as difficult as she had imagined.

However, despite waiting, they had yet to see Natalie. In the past, they could scold and mistreat her without consequences. But today, Natalie was far beyond their reach.

"Grace will likelye looking for Natalie as well. We need to stay here and make sure she doesn''t get to her first."

Diana nced at the hotel entrance. "Once Selena arrives, we will call that old hag."

    "Alright."

Victor''s thoughts were in turmoil. He wasn''t Grace''s biological son. He had no right to anything in the Langley family.

Yet there were still things he wanted to ask her. Even so, despite the numerous calls from Grace, he didn''t dare to answer.

"Darling, this isn''t your fault." Diana knew her husband well. Years ago, Grace had opposed their marriage, but Victor had insisted on marrying her. His defiance had displeased Grace for a long time.

After the wedding, she eventually stopped objecting. However, their married life was constantly overshadowed by Grace''s control.

She held all the authority over thepany, and they had no choice but to rely on her for money each month. To Diana, it had been a humiliating existence.

Then, when she gave birth to their daughter, she thought things would improve, but her daughter wasn''t truly hers.

"These years must have been hard on you too," Victor said, his voice heavy with emotion. Their shared resentment toward Grace deepened, binding them even closer together.

If there had to be someone to me for all of this, it had to be Grace. They couldn''t me themselves.

"Let''s wait. Sooner orter, Natalie will leave the hotel."

    "Alright."

The two sat in quiet silence, waiting in the hotel lobby.

After more than half an hour, Selena arrived at the hotel. She walked straight to the table where her parents were seated and sat across from them. "Has Langley Group held a press conference yet?"

Victor shook his head. "Not yet. There hasn''t been a single move."

"The old hag must not be taking the threat seriously. She is willing to risk Langley Group, even at the expense of her own biological daughter. She must be gambling on the possibility that we don''t actually know her daughter''s whereabouts." Selena sneered.

"We truly don''t know where Megan is. Selena, we''re here to apologize to Natalie. Let''s not get distracted by other matters," Victor admitted with a sigh.

"Your mom and I decided that after apologizing to Natalie, we''ll take our money and leave Amberton. Whether we go abroad or settle in another city, the money we have is more than enough for us to livefortably for the rest of our lives." "Mom, is that what you want as well? And what about the Miller family? Are we just going to leave them behind?" Selena asked, ncing at her phone.

"Tyler isn''t the right man for you. The Miller family has always relied on Langley Group''s support, and with thepany''s downfall, they will suffer as well."

Diana reached out to hold Selena''s hand. "If you still want Tyler, we can drag him along with us."

"I don''t want Tyler. If Natalie doesn''t want him, then I don''t want him either." Selena sm ed.

"Selena, at this point, you shouldn''tpare yourself to Natalie in everything."

"I know," Selena answered dismissively. "I''m not trying topare myself to her. I just find him unworthy.

"Tyler looks down on my past. He thinks that despite being the true Langley heiress, I don''t have the elegance of a wealthy family''s daughter.

"But if I had truly been raised as a rich heiress, would I have even survived until

now? I have thought it through. Someone like Tyler isn''t worth my time."

"It is good that you have realized that."

    "Yes, I have."

The three of them sat in the hotel lobby, waiting for Natalie to appear.

    ...

Meanwhile, in the Presidential Suite, Natalie was still deep asleep.

She had been exhausting herselftely, taking care of Laura''s illness, barely resting at all. This time, she finally had a chance to catch up on sleep.

By the time she woke up, it was already past 7:00 pm. She reached under her pillow and retrieved her phone, noticing several messages from Hector.

Hector: "Have you woken up yet?"

Hector: "Are you hungry? Should I order food for you?"

Hector: "You must still be sleeping. Rest well. Message me when you wake up."

A faint smile curved Natalie''s lips as she dialed Hector''s number.

"Hello, Hector, I just woke up."

"You must be hungry. Get ready quickly, I will take you out to eat. We can also walk around Amberton and buy gifts for Father, Mother, Lincoln, Timothy, and Manson." His warm and doting voice came through the receiver. "And for Marcus as well. Buy something for him too. Put it on my card."

"Alright, wait for me then." Natalie chuckled.

    "Take your time. No rush."

"Got it." Natalie ended the call, ruffling her hair before heading to the bathroom.

After freshening up, she stepped out of her room, just as Hector emerged from the one next door.

"Hector, did you sleep well? That was such a restful sleep. I finally caught up on all the sleep I have missed these past few days." Natalie walked up to him with a smile.

"That''s good. You have been sleep-deprived for too long."

The siblings took the elevator down together. As the doors opened, they stepped into the bustling hotel lobby.

As soon as Natalie stepped out, Victor and his family immediately approached

    her.

Natalie frowned slightly, about to speak, when Hector immediately pulled her behind him. "Victor, what do you want?"

His voice was cold, his gaze sharp as a de. The way he looked at the Langley family carried an unmistakable air of hostility.

"Mr. Walker, please don''t misunderstand. We''re not here to cause trouble. We

came to apologize to Ms. Walker," Victor said quickly.

    He continued, "We''ve been waiting

for an opportunity to make things right. There are things we didn''t know before. We were used as pawns Regardless of whether Ms. Walker forgives us or not, please allow us a few minutes of your time."

"Yes, Ms. Walker, please. I was

wrong in the past. I should never have taken out my resentment on you by drawing your blood." Diana added sincerely. "This time, the three of us truly came to apologize Please, give us just a few minutes."
