Chapter 494 Do Not Believe Them

Diana reached out, tugging at Selena and Victor. "Hurry, bow and apologize to Ms. Walker."

Selena pressed her lips together, staring directly at Natalie before slowly lowering her head in a bow.

"Natalie, I''m sorry. I sincerely apologize for my resentment and my rude behavior toward you," she said, her voice void of emotion.

Natalie raised an eyebrow. She had instructed Ynda to subtly leak some information about Megan to Selena, but she hadn''t expected such a drastic shift in their attitude.

Natalie had slept the entire day, unaware of Selena''s actions. But their swift arrival suggested they had been waiting for her.

"Ms. Walker, we only need a few minutes of your time. There are things from your childhood that we believe you should know. And regarding the blood transfusions, we need to exin everything properly," Victor said cautiously.

Natalie pondered for a moment before nodding. "Alright, but I am hungry. I need to eat first."

Diana immediately responded, "Let us treat you, Ms. Walker."

"Yes, whatever you want to eat, we will take care of it," Victor added eagerly.

Natalie found the situation amusing. Diana had never treated her with such courtesy before.

"Fine, then let''s eat at the hotel restaurant."

"Yes, the hotel restaurant is perfect," Diana quickly agreed.

They moved to the second-floor restaurant, which served a seafood buffet. Natalie took her seat while Hector went to get food for her. For the Langley family, it was Selena who was sent to grab their meals.

Victor and Diana sat across from Natalie, visibly uneasy, nervously studying her expressions.

Back when Natalie lived with the Langley family, they had always looked down on her, acting superior. She had been nothing more than an obedient, fearful girl who never dared to anger them.

The roles had reversed. They were the ones afraid.

"Mr. and Mrs. Langley, why are you staring at me like that?" Natalie leisurely sipped on the drink Hector had brought her.

"Hector is getting food for me. If you have something to say, just say it."

"We just want to sincerely apologize. I have done many wrong things in the past. It was my fault. I resented and med the wrong person. I truly regret it," Diana said, standing up and bowing at a ny-degree angle.

Victor also stood up, bowing toward Natalie. "Ms. Walker, I''m deeply sorry. Our entire family owes you an apology. I even drugged you once, causing you harm. Luckily, you were alright in the end.

"We have already suffered the consequences of our actions. Mrs. Walker has given us her harshest punishment. We have learned our lesson and will never dare to trouble you again.

"We have made our decision. After apologizing, we will leave Amberton for good."

Looking at Natalie, Victor felt aplex mix of emotions. He was filled with regret. If only they had treated her well from the beginning, they could have been the ones basking in unimaginable wealth. But in this world, there were no "if only" scenarios.

"Ms. Walker, I am truly sorry."

Natalie remained silent, sipping her drink.

Before long, Hector and Selena returned with food. Hector nced at the Langley family, then focused on preparing food for Natalie.

"Natalie, I apologize for everything I have done to you." Selena finally spoke.

Without warning, she dropped to her knees in front of Natalie. "I was wrong. I admit it. I envied you, resented you. I thought you had stolen everything that should have been mine. But the truth is, you were a victim too.

"It was that old hag Grace who had her brother take me away. I should have grown up with my parents. Even if I didn''t live a wealthy life, at least I wouldn''t have suffered such inhumane torment."

Her eyes filled with tears. "I hate

Grace. I hate her. I have never

imed to be a good person. I admit that. I have wronged many people, but you were never one of them. And yet, the moment I returned tothe Langley family, I targeted you relentlessly.

"Looking back, was I not just like Grace? The only difference is that I showed my cruelty, while she hid behind her schemes. But when I apologize, I mean it. Whether you ept it or not, I am offering my apology."

With that, Selena bowed deeply. "I will be leaving Amberton for good. Natalie, I hope you have a bright future ahead of you."

Natalie raised an eyebrow, genuinely surprised by Selena''s sincerity. What was this family ying at?

Just then, a familiar voice rang out. "Nattie, don''t believe them."

Turning around, Natalie saw Grace walking toward her.

"Old hag, have you still not dered Langley Group bankrupt? Looks like my warning wasn''t enough for you." Selena immediately mmed her hands on the table, standing up.

"Selena, stop threatening me," Grace snapped.

Then she turned to Victor. "And you, Victor. I raised you, gave you wealth andfort, and this is how you repay me? By allowing Selena to defy and threaten me?"

"Enough with hypocrisy. We already know Victor isn''t your biological son." Diana sneered, her tone dripping with sarcasm.

"Spare us the act. We''re tired of it. You know exactly why you raised him. Only you know your true motives. You even had my daughter taken away and sold. I could sue you for that, you old hag."

"Diana, do you have any proof? You and Victor have lived off me all these years, enjoying my money and my resources. Now you turn against me like a pair of ungrateful leeches?" Grace said coldly.

"Enough nonsense. We dared to tell Natalie the truth about what we did. Do you have the guts to do the same? Would you dare to admit that you ordered us to drain her blood?"

Diana stood up, pointing her finger at Grace. "If you hadn''t yed the good guy while forcing us to y the viins, we would never have dared to touch her. Now that we are sincerely apologizing, youe here to ruin it? Grace, you''re a heartless old witch."

"You... You... You..." Victor, are you going to let your wife talk to me like this?"

Grace clutched her chest in anger.

    "Victor remained expressionless.

"She''s not wrong. You agreed when

    we used Natalie''s blood for

transfusions. In fact, you were the one who hinted at it. You told us

there was no need to look elsewhere when we had a ready supply at

    home.

"Mother, you might not remember, but we do. And if you still want to deny it, we

can go find the doctor who extracted her blood. He still remembers what you said back then."
