?Chapter 384:
It was either a coincidence or perhaps intentional that Josue kissed Gabri’s cheek just as Bryan arrived.
Eileen pursed her lips in silence, imagining Bryan’s distress.
“You really shouldn’t be so upset,” Eileen said, feelingpelled tofort Bryan, worried that he might be overwhelmed by his anger toward Josue. “This might not be the first time he’s kissed her.”
Bryan was stunned by her words.
“The point is,” she continued, “you can’t shield her from all men. Eventually, she will grow up and form connections with someone, you know?” Eileen considered that Gabri would eventually get married.
Taking a deep breath, Milford said, “Eileen, you’re not helping. You’re just making things worse!”
Bryan had only been reunited with his daughter for a couple of days. Not only had Eileen informed him that he wasn’t the first to kiss Gabri, but she also suggested that, in the future, another man might form a closer bond with her.
With a stern expression, Bryan tossed the wet wipe into the trash, picked up his daughter, and headed upstairs.
Eileen could tell that Bryan would treat Gabri’s future boyfriend coldly.
Bryan remained silent throughout the night. As they prepared for bed, Bryan silently took his ce next to Gabri’s cot.
Eileen benefited from Bryan sleeping there. She didn’t have to wake up to feed Gabri or be disturbed at all.

It was a long night in the quiet room. Only the sound of their breathing could be heard. The bright moonlight lit up the bed, making it feel especially warm.
Deep into the night, Bryan suddenly opened his eyes. He nced at the sleeping Eileen, then quietly got up and left.
At two in the morning, a phone call woke Josue. Without a word ofint, he rushed over.
“Bryan, what do you need from me?”
Bryan, standing at the doorway and leaning on a pir, didn’t invite him in but merely looked down at him.
“Do me a favor,” Bryan said.
Josue rolled his eyes and quickly responded, “Then I’ll need to see Gabri.”
“Or I’ll dismiss you from your role as her godfather,” Bryan replied.
Positioned on the lower step, Josue felt cornered and threatened. He smirked and said, “Please. Tell me what you need.”
“Prepare a share transfer agreement and file for a change of legal person for EB Group,” Bryanmanded.
