“Fortunately, the people of Earthend have already woken up. With a group of righteous men with iron spines, they won’t let this kind of filth take over.
“Let’s go. This isn’t something we can change.
“I want to find Shirley’s soul and bring her back to life. Then, I want to live somewhere quiet, far away from these scoundrels.”
“I want to stay by your side,” Daphne said, clinging to Robin’s arm, her eyes full of longing.
Robin sighed inwardly but didn’t respond. He just kept walking forward.
After passing by several more duchy–run stores, they finally came to a small tea stall, norger than a meter square, tucked in a corner of the street.
