Chapter 8- A Better Tomorrow
Third Person''s POV
Xander walked with his new mate, Allison to his room. He had to get himself away from Sabrina and
definitely not have Allison regret picking a fight with the world''s strongest female.
They walk in to his room, he gestures for her to sit down before he closes the door. Xander gives her
bottled water before he takes one for himself, drinking half of it in one swig.
"I''m sorry you had to see that." Xander starts and Allison remains quiet, as if thinking about it.
"Sabrina was my chosen mate. We were not together very long and the time we were together, we had
to deal with other things and not our rtionship. She has a son, he''s not mine but it feels like he is. I
built a bond with him and I didn''t even get to say goodbye." Xander exins.
"Why are you telling me this? I thought this is where you fuck my brains out and then mark me." Allison
says, making Xander choke on his water.
"I don''t care about your past, as long as it won''t be a problem in our present. Now, are we going to do
things the lycan way or are we just here to talk about you and your lost mate?" She asks. Xander
gathers himself, what he was about to say would probably burn him in theter days but he was always
an honest man.
"Why would you want to be with someone that is still in love with another woman? If I fuck you right
now, I''ll wish I was fucking her instead. I''ll most probably hate it because you''re not her but I mean if
you''re in to the whole meaningless sex thing, I''m not one to judge. It''s just that, if you are going to be
my mate then we will have to go through this in a different way. I want to respect you, value you
because you will be my luna, the future mother of my children. I''m not one of those alphas that just use
women as breeding tools, you are more than that even if that was your upbringing." Xander says
making Allison to growl at hisstment.
"Yes, women in my pack are raised to submit to their male mates but you forget I am alpha born, my
father did not want me to submit to just any Male." She says and Xander chuckles before looking her
dead in the eye.
He walks toward her, gently wrapping his big hand around her skinny neck, bringing her up to her feet.
"You were raised to submit to a man. So, you want me to do to you what daddy does to other women?
You want to abide by the same rules? Asking permission to speak? To breathe?" Xander asks as his
thumb rubs her lower lip making her eyes dark with desire.
Yet he couldn''t feel more empty. He could feel the sparks running through his arm when he touched
her, the pull to kiss her and im her was there but even his wolf was not in to it.
"I am not your father and I never will be. My pack is different and that is what you will submit to. I want
a strong woman who will lead a pack of strong women, be my calm not my storm. We do not throw
tantrums when we don''t get our way and I''m the alpha 24/7." Xander says before pulling away, making
Allison whine at the loss of contact and closeness.
"Go, get back to your pack and tell your alpha that you found your mate. Pack your things and in two
days I expect to see you at my border." He says before walking out of the room assigned to him
wanting to breath, to think about this.
Sabrina was right, he has to do right by his pack. Losing her was like losing more than a limb and there
is no way Allison couldpare to Sabrina but he had to try, the pull would eventually be too strong to
fight and he will give in to it. For now, he will have to take the two days to heal from Sabrina and losing
Adrastos, his only son at the moment.
Walking around in circles waiting for his beta to get here, Xander bumps in to Maximus.
"Hey." Xander says nning to just walk past but Max grabs him by the hand to stop him.
"I don''t see a mark on your neck." He says trying to hide a smirk.
"How is that any of your business?" Aiden says walking up to them. He won''t say it but he felt bad for
Xander even though he was the happiest man right now.
Xander walks away, not wanting to be part of this mate boy band.
"Who are you?" Max asks. Aiden walks closer to him, being taller, he looked down at Max.
"Someone that''s here to remind you not to be so pleased. It''s not like you stand a chance with her
again, you made sure of that." Aiden says making Max growl and show his teeth.
"And how would you know that?" Max asks making Aiden chuckle.

"I''m her true mate and since we are both immortal now, I''m her forever." Aiden says to Max before
walking away, leaving him to his thoughts.
He was not a fan of Xander, no definitely not but Sabrina still held him in high regard, still loved him
which pained him as he wanted to be the only man she felt like that for, it didn''t change that Xander''s
wound was too fresh to just let Max be an asshole to him.
It was time to pack his things and make his way back to the heavenly realm since that''s where Sabrina
will be now.
Now that Cj was to be the king, he will figure out who will run the pack he ran for all of 5 minutes. It was
time to head back and im the woman made for him.
He still had his work cut out for him but Aiden was excited for this new chapter. A chapter that involved
not just dreaming of Sabrina but now he had an even greater chance at making her his to im, all of
her belonging to him.
Ah, just how it should''ve been from the beginning but love is always sweeter after the war.

Sabrina''s POV
With Arianna''s help, I found the twin lycans, also known as my sister''s twin mates. They also needed to
see the state Josey was in, although what surprised me was their reluctance to do anything rted to
Josey.
They were happy to see me until I mentioned my sister''s name. I was starting to feel like bringing them
back did not help one bit.
We got back to the heavenly realm, walking towards the room Josey was in and when we walked in,
Josey ran towards her mates, pulling them in for a hug.
They quickly pulled away, acting repulsed by that action, by Josey. Josey takes notice, like everyone
and walks back, creating space between her mates and herself.
My heart broke at the sight, Anthony growling at the sheer disrespect.
"You''re here to end things aren''t you?" Josey asks the twins and we all, by all I mean my mother was in
the room, Arianna, myself, Anthony and Hunter. We all turn to give the twins a look of disbelief.
"No, Josey look.." yton tries to say but Josey cuts him off.
"You ungrateful little wolves. You died! You both died and my sister brings you back and for what? To
reject me?" She asks as her wolf surfaces through her eyes.
"You both put me through so much! Why can''t men forgive like women? You had a whole child with
someone else, not me. Lied to me about it, only for my sister to expose the both of you before you
could sink your teeth in to my neck. Selfish bastards! I gave myself to the both of you!" She screams
out, making my heart drop to the pit of my stomach.
"Does my vampirism disgust you? Or is it my wolf? My beautiful white wolf that is stronger than the two
of youbined? Since you both came back I''ve been nothing but a mess. You were both too selfish
to notice my turmoil.." Josey chuckles..
"Too consumed by the fact that I wanted to be with another man. You both can''t look past that, no. I
have only been with the two of you but still that wasn''t enough right. You have to own my wants and
needs too as if you both were saints. Who ran the pack while you two did goddess knows what during
my time there? Actually lets end this, right now." Josey says.
"Whoa, let''s think about first." Hunter jumps in but Josey shakes her head no.
"Mother is a halfling and she found you. There''s probably a true mate for me up here too, I don''t need
to be with men who can''t handle me. At least here, my true mate would be stronger than me. I''d finally
be submitting to a worthy man and I don''t want any of you to lie to me." She says before anyone could
interject.
"Nobody wants to be with a weak mate and that''s on our wolves. Maybe that''s why I could never carry
your children, I know I could never survive what Sab had to go through with Max and yet you both put
me through so much because my vampire decided to be with another man after you both died! Maybe
it''s better we end this now, what''s the point?" Josey says as tears fall out of her eyes.
"Josey my baby, think about this first." Mother tries to calm her but she won''t allow it.
"No mother. Why should I be the one to suffer in this rtionship? Why do we as women have to be the
saints? Yes I wanted another man but after you both decided you''d rather die. After you both chose
death over me, chose the easy way out. Besides, it was the false moon goddess that paired us up,
who''s to say she wasn''t doing it for herself. Keeping me on earth meant keeping Sabrina there too.
Why must I stay with you two? You make me cry, you make me feel this way. Weakening my wolf and
my heart." Josey says as she grabs something shiny from her bed.
My eyes bulge out when I notice what it is.
"Josey...." I say and she shakes her head no.
"I put my all in to this rtionship. I loved your son as my own, yed the dutiful luna. The perfect
mate, not allowed to fight or do anything really. At first I thought you were both being over protective of
me but that wasn''t the case. You did not want the pack to know of my strength and abilities, it''s even
worse now with my new vampire strength right? You were both already struggling with my natural born
strength and then I go and turn in to a night creature, but a superior one thanks to my mother''s DNA. I
am superior in every way and then the twins remain the same. Definitely Max''s cousins, what do they
teach you boys growing up? I hope my brother bes king and imprisons you both for disobeying
sacredw." She says before cing the knife on her neck.
It all happened so fast.....
Josey cuts off the skin that showed her mark and throws it towards the twins,nding on their feet.
"Consider that thest thing you take away from me. You can go back to earth now, this is no ce for
an earthling." She says before falling to the floor, passing out.
Hunter grabs the twins and throws them out of the room. Anthony follows after him as the rest of us run
to help Josey.
"Oh my Josey.." Mother cries out. Josey''s wound already healing, showing her mark. I chuckle at her
dramatics, as I look at Arianna for help.
A knock on the door has all of us looking up just in time for the door to open, revealing the most
beautiful man I have ever seen.
Aiden walks in wearing just a pair of jeans and a cotton tee, but the shirt hugged him perfectly and was
not too tight. He was freshly showered, his beard trimmed and clearly had his hair cut.
I couldn''t even breath as my eyes raked over his body.
"I was told I''d find you in here. Sabrina, I''m here for you." He says. I wasn''t fighting the mate pull right
now, I was not prepared for his arrival and to be honest, I was too drained to put up a fight but the
emotions that took over me as Iid my eyes on him, the way my heart was beating almost scared me.
Is this the moment I let him in?
