CHAPTER 23


    Zaden was pacing left and right in front of Grandpa Kai, who is sittingfortable on a couch


    “I’m telling you. Thank god, I send the others away. I don’t think the boys would have had that much of


    self-control in them” he was clearly angry. Grandpa Kai ced a finger on his lips as he observed him,


    quietly.


    “I mean, her friends told me she can tame animals, not enrage them” he continued after a pause


    “Would you say something?” Zaden is now venting


    “Are you hiding something from me?” Grandpa Kai asked with a narrowed eye and cocked eyebrow


    and Zaden froze in his steps. He raised his shoulders in question.


    “Something important. About Selena?”


    Zaden dropped his head to the floor with his hand thrusted into his pocket. He indeed had a hidden


    secret but never intend to reveal them, at least not yet. Grandpa Kai exhaled sharp


    “Fine…Its none of my business but I will tell you one thing” Zaden raised his head to face him,


    interested in what he was about to say.


    “Her friends said she could tame animals but they didn’t know how she does it. She transfers vibration


    or aura from herself to the directed animal or individual. In order to do that, she has to be calm first,


    then throw that calmness towards the animals. I knew this earlier but from today’s stunt, I can


    understand that she doesn’t only impose her vibration, but also, must have been able to absorb some


    from her opponent. For example, she absorbs your anger before imposing her calmness to you, you


    understand?” Zaden nodded with a frown, trying to connect the dot


    “If in anyway, she expels the anger she absorbed, then the animal around her must have raged back,


    don’t they? So, the bad vibration must have disappeared within her, correct? In other words, she must


    be able to control herself and other at the same time for this to work” Zaden nodded gently


    “But she failed today, why?” Zaden frowned to Grandpa Kai’s question


    “I don’t think her wolf directed that lusty vibration out. She must have absorbed the lust and gave those


    python calmness or courage. Something else in her vicinity amplified that little absorption she did.”


    Grandpa Kai bloomed a yful smile and wiggled his eyebrow


    “Shut up” Zaden blushed once he understood what he meant. It was he who aroused her, not the other


    way around.


    “Son, belief me, I will…but her wolf won’t. 24 years it has been sleeping within her, not showing itself


    when she is awake. She came out to y today. Which means her wolf knows something that I


    don’t…” Grandpa Kai. Zaden blushed even deeper now.


    “Oh how I wish I was young…” Grandpa Kai wiggled his walking stick as he walked out and left Zaden


    alone to his thought.


    When he came out, all the pack leaders was surrounding Selena, re- enacting the python event.


    “You should have seen it, each python was at least 8 inches thick.” Sitka on her right


    “You were caressing them as if they are a bunch of toy poodles” Make on her left.


    “And the way you tracked them, high five girl!!!” Xavier at her front while Orion stood smiling behind her.


    She doesn’t look excited, in fact she looked nervous. Zaden approached them and cleared his throat


    “Aren’t you supposed to be training her?” he pointed at Make. Selena is now all bathed and fresh,


    ready for the day


    “Yes I am, we are waiting for lunch. I’m taking her toke zone today.” Zaden nodded when a thin


    figured woman came along, informing them that the lunch is ready


    “Is this woman a human?” Selena asked, pointing at the maid who prepared lunch today


    “No, she is an omega wolf. Why do you ask?” Orion replied


    “Nothing, is just that alldies in werewolf..” she got cut off by the whole group coherently, except for


    Zaden.


    “She-wolf”


    “Ok, fine, SHE-WOLF in yourmunity..” she got cut off in chorus again


    “Pack”


    “Would you let me to talk already? All the she-wolfs in your pack…” now Zaden had to cut off her


    “OUR pack…” all the 5 looked at him in shock.


    “She needs to be in our mind-link. I think that will increase Selena’s, as well as our safety” a spark of


    joy twinkled in their eyes. Make stood up jumping and hugged Selena tight.


    “How can you have 2 alphas in a group, I mean a pack?” she asked through Make’s hug. Make


    let her go to look back at Zaden with the same doubt.


    “You are not an alpha, you are a Samrat. There is a difference. You are not thinking about taking over


    my pack, are you? Even if you do, I think I can defeat a little fox in a pinch” he said with smug look.


    Selena was offended but at the same time overly happy that she has been epted. She ran to Zaden


    and gave him a tight hug, surprising even him. She then whispered to his ears “Thank you…You get to


    sleep in my bed anytime you want”. He smiled over her shoulders.


    They all sat down to eat. They have be sofortable together, like Selena was always part of


    the group and that she just returned from a trip. She never fails to make themugh. There will be


    another full moon in another 3 days and she will be announced as a pack member on that night, before


    they all shift and go for a run.


    During dinner, Selena was not there since Orion kidnapped her into the woods.


    “Where you taking me?” Selena was panting for breath after running away from brick house


    “You will see” he pulled her further into the woods, across closely knit trees and rocks. After a few more


    meters, the trees faded away, revealing a clearing with knee high green grass that swayed in wind. The


    grass smell hit her as she closed her eye, embracing the moment. Orion turned back to look at her


    face. His sharp chocte eyended on her lips and back to her closed eye. His heart raced at her


    sight which is turning to be a norm these days. He slide behind her and ced his chin on to her


    shoulder, making her giggle due to the tickle.


    “Look…” he whispered. Selena opened her eye. Orion bent down to pick a log and threw it further in


    front of them. A burst of fire sparks. Her eye widened.


    “Your wolf loved to y with firefly. I would like to see the magic again this full moon… Arge


    magnificent beast ying like a puppy with firefly” instead of being happy, she wore a long face.


    “What? Your scared of shifting?” He asked


    “Scared to shift without medicine. I forgot to pack the sleeping pill” she sighed out. He turned her


    around, she has been immune to his bad boy vibe


    “Do you know who is the most rapid shifter in this whole vige?” her eye trailed off to his chest, which


    is revealing a part of a tattoo.


    “You?” she asked with doubt


    “Yes, me. You have the best teaching you. We will get through this. You can even try now if you want


    to…” Selena thought seriously for a while


    “Ok, what do I do?” he smiled and started taking his coat off, then his shoes and then his shirt. A


    beautiful phoenix emerged from under his white shirt. Selena looked at it carefully. She stretched her


    finger out, touched the tattoo gently. Her soft baby like finger send spark from his chest, up his neck to


    his head. He struggled but managed to control his mind


    “Does it hurt?” Selena


    “A little…” his voice turned deep and husky. He unbuttoned his belt when Selena spooked and jerked


    back


    “What are you doing?”


    “Getting ready to shift?!?!” he said with a frown


    “Naked?” Selena asked with an exim

    “Yes, or else u have to rip an outfit every time you shift. That is my favorite shirt, I’m not ripping it apart”


    Selena stared nk at him. He noticed how ufortable she is with being naked, after all, she is a


    virgin. He turned around


    “I can close my eyes if you want to” he did as he said


    Selena reconsidered for a minute, checked the surrounding before she touched the belt of her chiffon


    skirt. An owl cooed and she dropped the idea of taking her clothes off.


    “Orion, is there wereowl, werebear, weretiger and so on?” her eyes still flickering at the thick forest in


    front of her. Orion frowned and turned around


    “What?” he eximed


    “You know, like you shift into wolf, is there tigers, bears and other creatures like that?” heughed out


    loud


    “It not werebear or weretiger. It is called shape shifters and we are one of them” he stifled hisughter


    “Then can that owl be a shape shifter?” her eye is now focused up to a tree. An owl was sitting on the


    tree branches


    “Are you serious?” Orion asked and she nodded.


    “Selena, no one is going to look at your body. In fact, all of them will be naked for a few second before


    they shift. It is normal for us to see each other naked” he exined but she is not convinced. Finally, he


    gave Selena a homework. She was asked to be naked in her room and then go stand by the window.


    One step at a time.


    “Here” just before they depart into the house, Orion gave her a chocte bar.


    “Congrattions” he said with a smile that drewugh lines at the edge of his lips and corner of his


    eye. A full face of smile. Selena took the chocte with a smile too. He then leaned forward and ced


    a kiss on her cheeks. His beard and moustache managed to tickle her again


    “Good night” he left her at the door and climbed the stairs. Selena stood watching him for a second. His


    wide body with tattooed arm and a light sway in his way of walking, making him intimidating then he


    really is.
