"Come on, get the f*ck up! I said, get the f*ck up!"


    Felix and Wilbur exchanged nces, and Wilbur took a deep breath before saying, "The guy''s dead, Augheimer."


    "Dead?"


    Augheimer trembled when he heard that, glowering at Jimmy on the ground in disbelief. He stabbed Jimmy''s corpse in the stomach a dozen more times, his expression growing more and more feral. "Please, Wilbur. Please."


    Wilbur nodded. This was the first time he had seen Augheimer in such a state. He had been the Pope of the Church of Holy Illuminati, one of the most powerful people in the whole world on Earth. Yet here in the middle dimensions, Augheimer was no more than a speck of dust.


    It was impossibly painful for someone of such high power to be humiliated like that, and Augheimer''s outburst was honestly pretty understandable. Wilbur summoned a ball of light in his right hand, striking Jimmy''s body with it the next second.


    Jimmy exploded into dust, drifting away with the wind. The dagger ttered out of Augheimer''s hands as his chest heaved, trembling all over as he closed his eyes. It looked like he was trying his best to contain his emotions.


    A little over ten secondster, Augheimer seemed to finally snap out of the state he had been in. "Thank you for saving my life, Wilbur. I owe you one, and I promise to repay you one day."


    "I believe you," Wilbur said as he stuck out his hand. "You can consider us allies now."


    The best way to show kindness towards a prideful person was to respect their decisions, and Wilbur was doing exactly that.


    Augheimer grabbed Wilbur''s hand, getting to his feet. Wilbur patted the dust off his body, saying, "I told you I''d take you into the mirror dimension with me. Once I get back, I''ll have Lord Babbit put you under me. That way, you can follow me wherever I go, and I''ll bring you along to cultivate then."


    The middle dimensions were far moreplicated than Wilbur had ever imagined them to be. The battle against Botani with Edmund in the City Lord quarters had taught Wilbur that elites were everywhere here, and it was important to have allies to rise through the ranks.


    Despite the fact that Edmund was now an ally of Wilbur''s, which might change once Edmund had recovered. Thus, it was important to get new allies before Edmund''s recovery.


    Augheimer, like Wilbur, was from Earth. The two of them shared a pretty decent rtionship, and supporting Augheimer to make an ally out of him was a pretty good move.


    "Thank you," said Augheimer.


    The three of them had a short chat and headed back. Wilbur asked Augheimer how he had ended up at the mercy of the Dragon Killers, to which Augheimer let out a sigh before telling Wilbur that his grudge with Devan had formed during a duel at the Azure Dragon Training Grounds.


    Augheimer had been far more powerful than Devan then, but Devan had somehow managed to improve his cultivation immensely in just two weeks.


    Devan was furious that he had been defeated, and that led to another duel where Augheimer lost. This had never happened to Augheimer ever since he had joined the training grounds, and his defeat left him indignant.
