Despite so, the thought of Wilbur being able to own a dimensional treasure filled Edmund with endless resentment. Wilbur had to die! And since Edmund would not be able to use the bronze mirror, it would be destroyed.


    Edmund was a decisive man. After giving it some thought, he decided to head to the Chris family quarters to kill Wilbur right away. He would also destroy that bronze mirror while he was at it so that he would have nothing to worry about anymore.


    Over at the Vermillion Bird Mountains, a series of volcanoes were radiating an intense heat that melted the snow on the ground and scorched the earth underneath.


    Wilbur and Felix walked between the mountains, and Felix said, "Master, you can now cultivate in the Vermillion Bird Mountains. The energy aura here may notpare to the Azure Dragon energy aura, but they both have special features of their own. I''m sure you''ll be able to improve your cultivation quickly here."


    Wilbur nodded. "Senior Horne, I think you should take care of the Chris family matters as soon as possible so you can cultivate here too."


    "No."


    Felix shook his head. "The Chris family is huge, Master. Countless things happen every day, and someone needs to oversee the family''s operations. I can''t leave the family quarters, or Babbit will grow suspicious. However, I do hope that you''ll be able to improve your cultivation as soon as possible. We don''t know when Babbit will change his mind. If that happens, a battle is bound to break out between us and him."


    After Felix left, Wilbur took out the bronze mirror. He muttered a spell as the mirror began absorbing the energy aura from its surroundings, and Wilbur flew into the mirror to cultivate.


    Later that night when Buck Town had fallen quiet, Babbit changed his appearance before putting on dark clothes, then headed over to the Vermillion Bird Mountains.


    Babbit was more than used to Wilbur''s aura, and it was not long before he spotted the bronze mirror hovering in mid-air. Babbit scanned the mirror with his spirit energy, and Wilbur came flying out of it the next second as he frowned at the figure d in ck before him. "Who are you, and what are you doing here?"


    The figure in ck stared at Wilbur for a few seconds before summoning a sword and charging toward Wilbur with an attack.


    Wilbur scrambled to move out of the way, and the sword missed him by a mere inch. Yet the aura of the attack was sharp enough to split a gash open on the side of Wilbur''s face, and he retreated ten meters away before the figure in ck could attack again.


    "You sure are powerful. Who are you?"


    "I don''t think there''s any point in you knowing that since you''re going to be dead soon."


    The figure stared coldly at Wilbur,unching another attack. Wilbur muttered a spell at the veryst second, and the Azure Dragon astral defense appeared. The sword attack pierced the astral defense, causing it to shatter into the air.


    The figure continued to cast blow after blow, forcing Wilbur backward before he finally retaliated with a blow of his own. A white dragon appeared, snapping the figure''s sword before pouncing on him.


    The figure scrambled to put his hands before his chest, but the pressure from the attack still sent him flying a good distance backward.
