"Felix Horne is here?"
"Yes, my Lord."
"Alright. Send him in."
The servant left, and Felix entered the room. He got down on his knees, bowing to Edmund. "There''s trouble, Lord Edmund."
"At ease. I know what happened."
Felix got to his feet. "What should we do now, Master?"
"Oh, don''t worry."
Edmund took out a white porcin bottle and handed it to Felix. "This contains Immortelle. Put a few drops in Babbit''s mouth once you get back, and his body will restore itself."
"Yes, Master."
Felix returned to the Reyne family grounds, doing as Edmund had told him to in the secret chamber. Babbit''s body began to expand in the next second. A wispy aura swam around his body as his joints began to heal themselves.
He regained consciousness two hourster. Babbit nced at Edmund before rising to sit up cross-legged. "You can head out now. I need to tend to my injuries. "Yes, Master."
Three months passed by in the blink of an eye, and Babbit emerged from the secret chamber atst. Felix followed behind him, and the two of them came to the Azure Dragon Lake.
Babbit turned to Felix and said, "Felix, send out orders to the family elites to kill all the cultivators within a fifty-kilometer radius around theke."
Felix frowned in confusion. "Has there been another energy aura leak in the Azure Dragon Lake, Master?"
"Yes, there has."
"Do you need to have the underground stream sealed off, then?"
"Not at the moment."
"Yes, Master."
Felix turned to leave. He returned not long after, saying, "I''ve given your orders to Mister Divan, Master. He''s seeing to it now."
"Very well. There''s something else I''d like your help with, Felix."
"What is it, Master? As your humble servant, please give me any orders you wish."
Edmund looked at Felix. "Since you and Wilbur Penn have absorbed and cultivated the energy aura in the Azure Dragon Lake, I''d like to give you another chance to cultivate here. Are you two willing to pledge your loyalty to me?"
"What?"
Felix''s eyes widened as he fell to his knees, bowing to Edmund profusely. "Please, Master! You can trust me with everything! Please, spare my life and Wilbur''s."
"Don''t worry, Felix. I''m not going to kill you, I just thought you two are worth training. You could be my strongest subordinates, you know? That Wilbur''s pretty powerful. I''m sure he wouldn''t say no to such an offer."
"But..." Felix hesitated.
