After confirming the situation, Wilbur shouted at the man coldly. The ck-haired man froze, staring at Wilbur for a moment before sneering and letting out a smirk. "Sure. I won''t be in your way if you''re intent on getting yourself killed. Goodbye."


    Upon saying the words, the man disappeared without a trace. Wilbur knew that the man did have the power to defeat the three snow wolves, but Wilbur had no money on him. Besides, he had gone hungry the whole day and now saw the snow wolves as food.


    This time, Wilbur was not going to let anyone else take his prey from him. He summoned the Magic Dragon de, then took a deep breath before absorbing the energy aura around him. The next second, all three snow wolves came charging toward him at the same time.


    Wilbur shot out toward the wolf in front of him, attacking it at top speed before moving on to the next target.


    "Roar!"


    Another snow wolf pounced, its bloody mouth snapping at Wilbur. At thest second, Wilbur turned to the side and retaliated with an attack of his own. The powerful dark aura cut the wolf''s head off its body, spraying blood everywhere.


    The other two snow wolves witnessed the quick killing and were shocked. However, Wilbur gave them no chance to escape,unching two swift attacks that killed the other two wolves at once.


    Wilbur looked around before settling his sight on the cave a little ahead. He gritted his teeth through the pain, gripping the Magic Dragon de in one hand and dragging all three snow wolves in the other into the cave. He then gathered some firewood and struck a rock with the Magic Dragon de to create sparks that would ignite the firewood.


    Wilbur cut off arge piece of flesh from one of the wolves'' thighs, popping it onto his makeshift grill at once. After it was cooked, he seasoned it with the condiments he had kept in his demine before digging in.


    The meat was fresh and delicious, but Wilbur still felt rather hungry after finishing all of it. He then cut off the wolf''s whole leg, and the hunger only disappeared after he had eaten all four legs of one wolf.


    Wilbur rubbed his belly, confused. The gravity here was a hundred times greater than that of Earth, which would exin why he would use up much more energy than usual. It was important to recharge that energy, which meant that all three snow wolves would have to end up as grilled meat.


    Since Wilbur did not have a town token, he was not allowed into Buck Town for the time being and could only wander the streets outside. Thus, he nned to prepare his food in advance to save energy and went searching for more firewood beforeing back. While grilling the snow wolves, he took the fur he had skinned off them to stuff into his coat.


    There was no way Wilbur could buy any clothes in Buck Town, and it was freezing out here. Wilbur''s best bet was eating wolf meat and using the wolves'' fur as an insnt. It was a good thing that the snow wolves were ratherrge, close to the size of a wild boar. They had enough fur that one wolf''s worth was enough to fill up Wilbur''s coat.


    With the fine wolf''s hairs filling up his coat, the wind could not seep through it at all. With Wilbur also being close to the campfire, the heat even made him break out into a small sweat.


    Wilbur finished grilling all the meat and put away the three pieces of wolf pelt. They might not be worth much money, but he could at least trade them for some necessities once he got into town.


    Suddenly, a sharp pain shot through Wilbur''s chest. He cried out, pressing the left side of his chest before the pain caused him to promptly pass out.
