"Yes, sir."
Themanding officer nodded and asked, "Can you tell me how you did it, Mister Holt? Um... Why are the ice archers so powerful?"
Holt smirked. He, too, thought it was terrifying before he learned about the power of an evil god. However, Holt possessed those capabilities now, so he felt proud of himself.
"It''s none of your business. All you need to know is that this poweres from me. As long as I''m here, we''ll kill all the cultivators in Skermann within three days. We will crush Skermann to a pulp within ten days. It truly is doomsday for all the Skermann cultivators."
"Oh, really?"
Suddenly, a powerful energy appeared on top of the military camp. Wilbur
levitated in the air as he looked down on Holt and the others.
"Holt, don''t you think you''ll be punished by doing this?"
"Pfft. Punished?"
Holt sneered coldly and said, "I call the shots here. So, you finally decided to show up, Wilbur Penn. It''s a shame that you can''t save Skermann on your own. I''l force Skermann to join the Burd Bay war today."
Wilbur said angrily, "Don''t get ahead of yourself, Holt. I won''t allow you to step foot in Skermann as long as I''m here. Burd Bay has be a ce of warfare under your control. You''re to me for this. You should stop this immediately if you have any remorse. Otherwise, I won''t have mercy on you."
"Hahaha! You''re too arrogant, Wilbur Penn. I can''t believe that someone''s still trying to maintain peace in Burd Bay at this point. I''m d I met you. You made me see what I aplished, and how great I am. I made this happen, and you are left with no choice, Wilbur Penn."
"Oh, yeah?"
Wilbur clenched his jaw. He knew that it was almost impossible to convince Holt to quit. The only way was to kill him to change the situation in Burd Bay.
No one could convince a person who sacrificed their soul to an evil god to stop a war, after all. That person was simply dead and did not have a will of their own. At this point, Holt was merely a puppet manipted by an evil god.
"I''ll send you to hell, Holt! You will pay for your recklessness!"
Wilbur flicked his right wrist, summoning the Magic Dragon de in his hand, then flew down from above. Holt yelled, "Ice archers, shoot him down!"
The ice archers nocked their arrows and aimed at Wilbur. Then, they released the ice arrows. The ice arrows flew through the air and formed a huge ice block in Wilbur''s path. The ice block was blown apart by Wilbur''s dragon aura, causing a loud explosion that scattered pieces of ice all over the ground.
As things cleared, Wilbur had alsonded on the ground.
He raised his arm and made a shing move. Five ice archers instantly died from the de energy that shot out from him. Meanwhile, the remaining five ice archers nocked another arrow and shot at Wilbur.
With a loud roar, a white dragon took shape around Wilbur and its tail knocked away the five ice arrows. The dragon then grabbed two archers with its tail and squashed them before flicking its tail to kill another two archers with its mighty swing.
Very soon, only an archer was left alive. That archer witnessed everything, but he still stood there unfazed. He nocked another arrow on the bow, drew its string, and aimed at Wilbur once more.
Then, he released the arrow. Just when the arrow was fired, the dragon''s tail smashed his body. As the arrow flew toward Wilbur, he dodged to the side and grabbed the arrow. He instantly frowned because he could clearly sense the faint power of an evil god imbued in the arrow.
